This is the all-new Ford Fiesta ST. It certainly packs a punch when it comes to performance, but do you think Ford is offering the complete package with the latest edition of the ST? Watch my latest review to find out how it drives, what I make of the updating styling, along with any other bits that you need to know!

2019 US. It has no oh shit handles and has no hanger hooks. Be wary of the transmission sometimes it sticks. When you push the start button sometimes it doesn't start for 10 seconds or so. Only the driver's window has express up-and-down. Sunroof only has express open not close. Engine makes non rpm noise. Finger controls such as blinkers and wipers could be more ergonomic designed. 1/2 moon storage below A/C useless anything will fall out. Hard to see traffic out right rear window corner even with rear headrests collapsed. ST should be fully loaded. Mine came without heated seats. However, seats are durable cloth unlike cold leather needing heat. Having said all that I dig the car white on black. Ghost, every time I get in the car I hear chimes THAT WILL NOT GO AWAY!

Best bang for the buck performance car EVER, my 2019 ST was 19580 USD out the door. Ride on the standard 205R40-17 tire and rims was poor, which is why those are now in the loft of my garage. Now my ST rides on 205R50-16 tires and rims. Cost me about 1000 USD but the improvement in ride was tremendous and it will pay for itself within 3 hard pothole strikes because what will bust a 40 series wheel won't harm a 50 series. BTW, live in the metro Detroit area and suspect that roads in England are glass in comparison to what is called -paving- in Michigan.

The new design looks half-arsed and dated IMHO. It looks like a squashed Focus / Mondeo from the front and rear. Maybe Ford got Mr Chunky at Audi to design it for a laugh. Actually. it was designed by Ivan Telesca - Google his face and you'll see why the car looks as weird as he does! ;) I guess Ford could only go backwards after the last 10 years of success with the Fiesta. Roll on a facelift in about 5 years from now, and then I may consider getting one. ;)

I have a one of these and its absolutely brilliant as an everyday drive love it so comfy brilliant car cant quite understand what hes going on about the steering but each to their own brilliant car test drove the polo and its my own opinion the fiesta is far more fun and way better value for the money

I-ve just bought one and it is very lively. -Overdosed on Haribo-? definitely. On the other hand if driven sensibly, it-s pretty frugal on a long journey as it shuts one of its cylinders down. But let-s be honest, it-s not meant to be sensible and I-m definitely old enough to know better.

Matt I think you need to revisit this review! Are you sure you wasnt encountering the lane keep assist, when you state the steering is a bit off? Or may be its because it has a limited slip diff and its a characteristic?
Apparently the fiesta st is better than a lambo

Its a chavmobile is the only way I see a Ford Fiesta and Focus ST are poor mans sports vehicles for chavs in their 20's, Welsh in specific love them, so many die in them too because they have no driving capabilities the type of people who drive these cheap chavmobiles.

Can you do a comparison of the Fiesta ST against the BRZ/ GR86?
Both affordable by proper fun cars, with very different approaches!
I-m interested to see your thought because I-d love to buy the new Fiesta ST, but am currently weighting up against the GR86!

reply

0-60 times I don't think people realise, including him are reliant on how much the driver weighs, how many options you've got fitted and all new cars I've ever had Inc a fiesta St the engines are really tight when brand new and don't loosen up for thousands of miles

Apart from the fog lights surrounds, ST badge on the front, different grill, twin exhaust pipes, ST badge on the back, different wheels, sideskirts, different steering wheel and different seats, it looks exactly the same as an ST line. -
