7: 11 you that, -who would buy an M car and drive it in Eco Mode-? Well, here is my take. I drive a 2018 340i MPerformance daily. I like driving this car to and from work, it's fun and gets me there faster. However, I don't drive using all 320 HP every single day morning and evening. It sucks gas like crazy on Sport and Sport Plus Mode. In Eco Pro it becomes this daily driver that give me super smooth ride quality as well as calm crisp seamless shifts. So much point is, I would drive this X3M in Eco Pro daily for smooth ride quality and smooth, calm, crisp, seamless shifts. and when I need all 503 HP all I need to do is either push the M1 or M2 button and warp through time and the return back to my world. Can't wait to buy this X3M next year when my lease is up.
By the way, I should have said this at the beginning. Excellent review, I love watching your videos and enjoy watching you enjoy the Ultimate Driving Machine. Me and my wife like this vehicle very much and you made it easy to understand it and want it even more. Keep up the good work. Will follow you from here on. Great Video! 2 Thumbs Up

Just brought the new X4M Competition wow it has just blown me away, it does everything that everyone says but feels ten times better in real life.
When it comes to looks
I believe the X4M Competition looks far superior with its sleek look and that aerodynamic back end gives it a faster sportier look than the X3M competition square box shopping trolley soccer mums SUV/SAV.
As far as feeling different the X4M Competition feels great with its low roof line that gives you the sensation of being in a high performance sports car. I'm 6'2.

There is a difference the x4m has extra bracing to make it almost as ridgid as the x3m which will make it weigh slightly more if u really nit pick when driving u will see the x3m handles slightly better same thing happens when comparing the 4 series grand coupe (sedan) vs the regular 3 series sedan those looks come at a price

X3 M is a great choice if you are limited to one car. My preference is an X3 3. 0i, yes the 4-cylinder, and a sporty car such as an M240i or a Boxster S. I feel bad for the guys that bought the X3 M40, now only the 3rd fastest X3 out of 4 models.

I owned an 2016 X4 about 3 years ago, but sold it last month. My wife didn't like it when I brought it home but as time passes she started enjoying driving it.
Looking at the new X4M, my wife was like, that's our next car for sure lol.

also its not bmw-s fault that the uk doesn-t allow normal m cars and only competition versions.

I had an X3 M40i and found the suspension too stiff and bouncy for daily driving. I can't imagine how stiff the X3M is! Did either model have adaptive suspension and if so how did it effect the ride? Thanks.

Perfect car like. Ome of those cars a normal person would look at and not realise theres a 510 hp engine under the bonnit. Try to race it in their ford fiesta and get absolutely slapped up
