Im a Q7 owner and I have a 2012 3. 0t which I love but I have a few issues.
1)Now the center console surface has begun to peel. 2) It downshifts too far on highway acceleration making it rev high without moving much.
3) A little cramped for 4 good sized adults on long trips.
4) annoying brake sensor wire connectors at the wheels need contact cleaned annually of dash lights up.
5) When you move the rear view mirror the rain sensing wiper start moving for a sec.
6) At max volume the stereo isn't that loud.
7) No remote tailgate function. No front mounted tailgate close feature or button.
8) The 290ho factory is under powered. Have to go stage 1 or 2 refresh to wake it up.

I think these reviews are good, but bit rushed and therefore the judgements are more like a whims or fast opinions, rather than assessed and well thought observations or mindful. Many aspects like load-lip/load-lift, 3 row seats etc. are also being built from security perspective to prevent incidents e. g. load sliding out from the back, kids not messing with the seats and realistically 3rd is for kids only rather than bachelors going to Vegas, or what is the UK/Europe equivalent. I think, but not sure, because this comment was rushed, whim and far from being mindful. ;) thanks anyway Matt. Good reviews though as mentioned.

I get the feeling he really dislikes the Touareg for some strange reason. I miss my Touareg and wish I could replace it with this third generation but unfortunately Vw won-t sell it over the pond to the states any longer which sucks. People paying way more for a caddies and other GM products well over 90, 000 and the Touareg-s price point. So you-re stuck buying a 3 row q7 you don-t need. Vw change your mind and bring back the Touareg to the states there are loyal customers willing and ready to buy them again, I-m one of them. Might make new customers along the way wanting out of there domestic overpriced bucket of tin.

Tbh the badge shouldn't betaken into consideration imo, at least in a car review. The test should solely be about which car is the best, not which one has the most appealing brand, otherwise the test is biased towards cars with more premium brands. The client has the right to choose according to his subjective preferences, but the tester should be unbiased and judge all cars according to their qualities, regardless of their brand/badge. That being said, I kinda agree with the final chart, although I would have probably put the Touareg above the Mercedes

Perfect example with that second row seat not going down despite pushing the button! How retarded does one have to be to want electric tail gate and folding seats? I'm not interested in spending my time stranded some place because the f-ing tailgate doesn't go down (or up) anymore. (And I don't care one bit that they give a -mobility guarantee-. that only helps after hours - at best)

Totally disagree with looks of Audi, Audi is second best looking behind VW. BMW IMO is the most boring looking with MB a close second. And are you kidding me with the aging comment, that BMW hasn-t changed in how many years?

The Audi is quite old It-s due for a replace next year we-re actually going to get a brand new Q7 they will replace this old one because this one is just quite old will get a brand brand brand new one which is way better

3: 36 what are you even complaining about the mirror and there light switches? I got an A-class loaner in 2020 and that switch felt nice, may be not as great/solid as my 2014 E350.

There-s a quality in the very Lehto-s one is exactly the same as this one so the Quality hasn-t change the design has definitely changed otherwise it-s the same as before yeah you get the new Audi huge screens
