Kia Stinger V6 review - better than a BMW M340i?

I dont need to vote on which 1 i would chose mate, mine is now 1 month old. I am in Australia i had to wait 9 months to get it, i have already put 2500kms on it. It is the best decision i ever made my 1st brand new sports car. Smile has not left my face since i picked it up. We didn't get the Seude interior here in Oz so i went for Silky Silver outside and the Red nappa leather inside. I don't know what is up with your mode setup. I have a custom mode and i have setup my own settings. I have the Engine in Sports with transmission decoupled in what Kia calls glide mode, suspension in comfort. Reason for that is it is way to hard and stiff for our road conditions with the suspension in sport mode. I then have the Steering in sport as well because you alter that too in Sport mode. For when i have the wife in the car or i am commuting to work i just have it set to the default comfort mode. In sport mode you cannot change anything like decoupleing the transmission that is full trac mode basically. It is the reason i setup the custom mode because its just too hairy for fun driving in full sports mode. If you are dragging or racing of course you will use default sport mode is what its for. I watched the Video again mate and i saw when you went to change mode you had Sport+, that is where my Custom mode is in my car, mine dont have a Sport+ mode. Why would Kia do that?

My father had a Kia Pride which over the years rusted and literally fell apart, and when looking at its decay i swore i will never own a Kia. Ever. Fast forward 10 years and it was time to buy my first used car for myself. and in 2016 bought a 2010 Ceed (3 door, since i fell in love in it at first sight. After 5 years we are still on the road today. The whole brand made a giant leap forward trough the years and Stinger is an example of it. Those who swear on german brands will ofcourse spit on it, since they are that kind of people, while others will appreciate what Kia offers to them. The car market is now getting crazy and to be honest i am confused if i even want a new car at all. Shapes are strange, everybody switching to electric and prices going up, so i guess i will stay with my Ceed for next 5 years until situation clarifies.

6m47s - not correct; there is a -custom- drive mode. I have mine set with powetrain to sport (for throttle response, shift points, etc, drivetrain to comfort (for 50/50 split as I live in Narnia, er, I mean Maine, and suspension and steering to sport. So yes, there is a customizable drive mode, named, appropriately enough, -Custom. - I picked mine over an M340i because if I had gone with the Bimmer (or an Audi S4, I'd always be wondering -What did I miss out on not going with the underdog? -

Just noticed something, and feel free to tell me I'm wrong, too lazy to do the research.
I always thought the first interior shot is, traditionally, of the cockpit. The all-important driver's seat. Left-hand side for me. Here, the shot is still from the left, even though it's the passenger side.
So, does that mean it's just common practice to film a car from the left-hand side? It looks odd, because the focus of that shot is a glove box.

As for rear visibility even my sister is always complaining driving my KIA she cannot see half the things around her, but confirms she can see all the people staring at her. KIA makes affordable eye catching cars you don't see 5 times every minute like Mercedes, BMW or Audi.

Very appealing car, but I still stand by my statement that the M340i is arguably the best all round car on sale today. Not only does it do everything very well, it also has some of that M magic that you feel when driving it. Not only that, you get arguably the best all round engine too in the B58. Imo it-s one of the best cars BMW have released in recent times, and looks amazing as well

Not only does it do everything very well, it also has some of that M magic that you feel when driving it. Not only that, you get arguably the best all round engine too in the B58. Nice motor without a doubt! But I've dragged equal with one of these 0-70mph in my 67 reg BMW F30 335d which cost me 21K and will average 38mpg and hit 55mpg on a 60mph cruise! I've saved myself 20k by the looks of it! Plus got 4x4 for winter, when I would truly take the piss out of one of these!
Nice car though, and they do sound well! Much better than my 335d!

Why on earth would you put a USB C port on the car when almost every mobile phone manufacturers provide a USB C to USB A charger cable as standard?
That's just nitpicking for the sake of nitpicking, like your review of the Alfa Giulietta where you said and I quote: -if you jack up the seat heigh adjustment your head touches the roof-. I rest my case

Well you won't look like a sales rep, it's exclusive so there won't be another one littering every street corner, sporting a pops and bangs map and a bad wrapping job, one missed payment away from finance reposession. Honestly, I've been very obsessed with this beautiful car. Normally, I'm not a fan of Kias, but this is definitely a giant exception. I'm still trying to get my parents to give me this for my first car. They're still refusing, but hopefully, one day, this will be my hope for a driver's license.
