Fellow Americans: Let's all do our part: call or write Ford US Customer Relationship Center and tell them what their American customers want. If we all contact them, maybe they'll realize it's a profitable business decision to bring the Focus ST 6 spd manual transmission to the US/North American market. Wouldn't hurt to ask for the Fiesta ST and/or the Puma ST 6 speed manual as well!

To be honest the lane safe is a safety feature. Not to to drive the car. It corrects itself then resets to monitoring, bit like bouncing off a barrier. Or a drunk bloke over correcting. But great review and love your humour. You can't say we ain't all going to have a go at it. And all the other silly things we can do. That includes you ladies too. ----------

OK Mat tell me why I should buy a new car. All cars depreciate at a high rate it-s such a very bad investment. Doesn-t matter if it-s petrol, hybrid, electric they all deprecate at such a high rate. A Government review needs to start and look into this as soon as possible.

The sound is a bit quiet. Other than a track start, what is the point of launch control on a road car? Sitting at traffic lights bouncing off the red line, you just look like a prat. Love my Mk2. 5 Focus ST, even with the fake engine noise.

There was an article saying it's now top, over the RS. How? My 17' ST does a 5. 5 sec with no tune on pilot sports, and not to mention looks way more aggresive. This looks like an SE with RS fog lights. Keep this outta the states LOL

The car wow saving is a load of bull. I just done it on this car and had about 5 dealers get back to me all around 32-33k saying I'm saving about 2. 5k, I looked on autotrader and found 2 with full spec brand new for 30k.

Just so you know, after test driving this and the GTI, this is a far more driver focused car. I'd say the golf is a good boy hatch for everything, but the feel of the focus a lot better
