my team and I will help you choose your ideal car at a fair price - from Mat Watson! . This is the all-new Mustang Mach-E! We get it - all you petrol heads out there have probably already decided that you're not a fan, right? You're probably saying 'It's bad enough they made a Mustang SUV, but making it electric too! Awful! ' But hold your horses. sorry ----! Mat's on hand to find out whether the Mach-E deserves so much hate, and whether it could prove the doubters wrong and become THE must-have EV of 2021! For starters, it looks pretty stylish from the outside. And that's not all! When you consider the range-topper will come with dual electric motors & an 88kWh battery pack to deliver 351hp and a claimed range of 379-miles, it sounds like it has the ability to compete with EV SUV class-leaders! But will it live up to its potential? You'll have to stick with Mat for his latest in-depth review to find out!

sorry to burst your little bubble but the Mustang is a car that any decent intelligent person does nOT want!
There are 4 main reasons:
1) The windscreens can so easily come off as Ford STILL has not learnt how to make a safe car after more than 100 years in business. They recently had to recall over 1. 4 million cars because the steering wheel falls off! Hmm I wonder why you and the other media refuse to talk about the frequent recalls of legacy car makers including Ford? Could it be that they PAY you a LOT of money in advertising?
2) The roof so easily comes off which is very very bad to say the least. I thought that Tesla had some issues but man this is embarrassing for Ford especially after they claimed that they would make cars better than Tesla. I guess not!
3) The software is just awful!
4) The CEO of Ford Mr Jim Rarely said he does not have a Mustang Mache E and basically would maybe consider buying one if he were to get a 3rd car but will still keep his ICE cars.
That is the worst message to give which is that these EVs are so crap even the boss does not want one!
I mean if the boss does not want one when it is free for him how does he expect to sell them?

As a GT owner and a 3. 7 cabriolet owner which is very fun to drive because of the lower power to weight ratio I wanted to like this car. I'd like a mustang EV but this just seems like a standard EV with a horse badge on it. Doesn't look too mustangy, certainly doesn't feel or drive like one. I'm not a tesla fan because the interior seems to be 4/5 passengers. The lack of proper driver's display etc puts me off. I'd still like an EV to have a nice driver friendly cockpit. I'm thinking Polestar si the way to go.

-. you shell out $$$ but it's not that user friendly car as normal fords use to be. have any of these new designer / engineers tried to adjust temp or switch something while driving on highway and messing with these screens -. door handles and buttons for key wholes. in winter weather -. sweet screen. now try driving with that massive bugger at night on avg roads that aren't lid up as a empire state building - over all kool theory but needs more real world application testing.

Brilliant and funny review, who needs Top Gear (old or new. Really captured the essence of what the e-Mustang is about, certainly one Ill be considering in the future, but mainly because then I could say I drive a chubby Mustang, it made me a little sad seeing a real Mustang, not sure if I could handle that emotional turmoil long term, like when the Porsche Cayenne came out, I feel that if I purchased this then I would be kicking the remnants of young me in the pods.

Really great review again. I never liked this car until I watched your review, it is very practical and comfortable looking, big surprise is the cabin space, I would choose this over many other electric cars, although kia and hyundai are doing an excellent job. It terms of speed, shur the insurance companies must be jumping for joy, they are going to screw people with cars that do 0 to 100 in just 3 to 8 seconds.

On the basis of this review, took a test drive. Review is bang on about the suspension. Driving about town on typical less than perfect surface. This car bounces constantly. Couple with the over aggressive manual AND regenerative braking, I felt physically car sick. Loved the style and the interior but my stomach wouldn't cope. Not on my short list anymore.

Looks bland pretty much the same as all the other crossovers. Not great speed, range, charging sucks, no autopilot and doesn't update.
Overall this car is a disgrace compared to a Tesla, But cost more than a Tesla.
If anything I wish I had more hands so I could give this car 4 thumbs down!

Having now seen one of these in real life I-m not sure why ford even used the mustang name, it-s basically an electric hatchback with an ipad on the dash and mustang rear lights lol, nothing at all like the actual mustang -

As a guy that has owned 3 mustang before in my life I hate they called this car a mustang but I have seen this car in person and it looks better in person and in black and white I wouldn-t buy it in another color. I don-t like it

Ford-s goal now is to sell 50, 000 Mach Es this year.
Since Ford only has one EV, that-s their entire company-s 2021 goal.
Only 50, 000 EVs
QUESTION: How long does it take Tesla to sell 50, 000 EVs?
