What happens when you take a classic Range Rover, rebuild the entire engine, and add a load of updates both inside & out? Well, you get this - the Kingsley Cars ULEZ Reborn Range Rover Classic! The name's a bit of a mouthful, right? But don-t let that turn you off! This is one classic car that you-ll definitely want to check out. For starters, let-s check out the engine. The car was originally released in 1981, but the engines had a full rebuild, meaning the 4. 6-litre V8 now puts down 270hp & 416Nm of torque! Think that-s impressive? Well, there are a number of interior updates which are equally as cool. While it retains some original features, such as classic dials and clocks, you get a number of mod-cons, including a built-in sat-nav & a wireless charging pad! There-s one rather big issue though- The starting price is -125, 000, and the model we have here costs -170, 000! So, is it worth it?

Love classics and resto mod vehicles. This one looked like it was done to a level more like 40k not north of 125k. Everything you touched was fragile and temperamental. In the background of the some of the scenes you could see components flap and move as if barely attached. The 7k brakes loved like they where fitted to hubs that had been wire brushed and roughly painted.
Basically it appeared the attention to detail wasn't there for its price tag. But I'm sure its a perfectly usable car or be it with all the fragility of a normal range rover classic.

I once crashed my car due to abs malfunction. I was on dual carriageway and European left hand drive lorry didn-t properly check his mirrors before overtaking another lorry in front of him. I had to slam my brakes, but due to abs sensor fault my front left wheel locked up, car started spinning out of control hit the side rail on the road even my wheel broke off. Got lucky to escape without any injuries.

I can't believe how much money they want for this car. 125k restomod for a original RR? Sure I can see that, but I'd bloody well expect abs included AT THE LEAST. And 16k for a full leather interior? What were they smoking? And the vinyl on that C pillar should have been replaced either with gloss or matt black paint. Thing looks like one of those Range Rover lookalike cabs you see around London.

Windows don-t open, doors don-t close, they clearly just threw new floor mats on top of the old ones (and he spun it brilliantly, it doesn-t go well, it doesn-t stop well, it doesn-t ride well, USB ports from Tesco on special, third-rate coachwork, and the brakes try to kill you. This hardly even qualifies as a restomod.

So a poor restoration and poorly thought out upgrades. Big brakes without changing the proportioning valve? It's just a standard range rover with leather plastered over everything, in 10 years time the original will be worth much more. Clearly aimed at rich londoners so it's not like any of that matters anyway.

For that kind of money this seems very disappointing. No abs? Poor finish of the interior? Windows and doors which do not close properly? Rims which look as bad as original 40 years old ones which were -restomodded- with a spray can? A wireless charger which is outdated already? No thanks.

Love to see stuff like this being produced but is is simply not good enough for the asking price, too many compromises, too many faults and just not special enough. Never though I would ever say this but in needs the Vinyl roof too!

175k for a $5k car with a broken window and upholstery that's not only ugly but horribly crafted. Steel wheels. Hatchback that doesn't close.
175k? Not even a locking gas cap. But apple car play of course. Absolutely absurd.

The restomod craze is a bit out of hand, I don't see the 120k value in this. It is a very nice creation but just not quite there. also the performance and safety is really not up to the money and -fully rebuilt- motor.

I'm fine with restomods costing a lot of money. But at the very least I expect them to be done well and fully functional. Some of the -quirks- shown here are simply not acceptable at this pricepoint.
