This is the all-new Mercedes S-Class Coupe! Both the exterior & interior come with numerous upgrades, from the Panamerica-style grille up front, to the huge infotainment screen that engulfs the dash on the inside. But it doesn-t come cheap! So are the upgrades worthy of the price tag and the prestigious S-Class badge? Join Mat for his latest in-depth review to find out!

Can't believe that a person who makes a living from reviewing cars doesn't even open the hood to speak about the engine and make some comments about the transmission.
Call me old-school, but I like more to hear about the engine, its technology and car performance than hearing about the plastics of the interior, the cup holders and the personalization of the ambient lights.

Great car but this instrument panel like most manufacturers making these days is completely unacceptable.
Like a tv screen or a big I pad.
The old one it was integrated to the console and was looking more like as a part of it. The new one doesn-t have any connection to the console.

I definitely like that the S560 coupe is basically a budget AMG. Yes the M176 and M177 share the same block and bottem ends. For the M176 in the 560 it has different heads and turbos but imagine the tuning and upgrade potential for these!

If I'm in the market for one these types of cars, I don't care about the rear seats! I do think this is nice. But I would compare it against the AMG GT 63S, the M850i, Audi S7, or the Bentley Continental GT. Thanks, Matt.

have you ever been sitting in a barcelona chair matt?
it is NOT extremely comfortable, due to the 90 degrees angle between seat and backrest.
it is a striking design still, but just for looking at

I-m sorry, but I would never. In a million years. Spend 100, 000$ on a Mercedes that-s gonna have every single malfunction imaginable about 15, 000 miles down the road. I-ll take a Lexus Lc 500. Thanks--

oooooh you said it had air suspension, not an E Class Coupe Matt, that's an S Class Coupe which has ABC suspension not AirMatic; ) Sorry just being a Mercedes geek. Carry on, amazing review.

Anybody that can afford to buy this car is not worried about room in the back or putting a child seat in it. They will have another car for that. It like doing it in a Ferrari or Lamborghini.

The back of this feels a little bit tight but to be honest I bet the Continental GT is a bit worse and a Lexus LC is absolutely awful you won-t even be able to fit that-s how cramped it is

Just admit it you don-t like merc that is why you find excuses to criticize it, because bmw has lots and lots flaws than merc and you can-t stand it. stop being Hippocrate
