Every Cayenne Turbo DRAG RACE

We ve got our hands on the Mk1 Porsche Cayenne Turbo, the Mk2 Turbo S, and the Mk3 Turbo S e-hybrid, and we re about to go full send down an airstrip to see how performance has changed across these three generations! So let s compare the stats. Starting with the Mk1, it s powered by a 4. 5-litre twin-turbo V8 that can deliver 450hp and 620Nm of torque. It tips the scales at around 2, 300kg. Next up it s the Mk2, and this Turbo S houses a 4. 8-litre twin-turbo V8 that s good for 570hp and 800Nm. Surprisingly, it s lighter than the Mk1, weighing around 2, 200kg. Then finally we have the Mk3 Turbo S e-hybrid. This is equipped with a 4-litre twin-turbo V8 coupled with an electric motor, and combined they deliver a glorious 680hp and 900Nm of torque! Naturally, though, the hybrid tech weighs it down a bit. As a result, it tips the scales at around 2, 500kg.

Stop mixing hybrids with petrol on your drag racing videos. The Cayenne Turbo Hybrid its much heavier. You made the same mistake also with the 971 Panamera Turbo S Hybrid comparing it with Audi rs6, Mercedes C63 and M5. Just put the 971 Panamera Turbo S without the hybrid. Its a bad comparison to mix hybrids with petrol. Does not make sense. I can tell you the difference between 9YB and 92A is really really small if you compare both the Turbo models. Come on, you can do better than this. Your videos are awesome and informative. Please keep them like that.

ev is NOT the future, it was invented before the combustion engine, ask porsche their first car was ev, , the future is combining both ev and combustion in certain systems, they don't want to have cleaner energy because if that was so why is cleaner fuel cost more than fossil fuel, if u wanted a change u will change,

imagine buying that OG Cayenne back in the day and being told in just over a decade your twin turbo Porsche will be 1. 7s slower over the 1/4 mile than a 2L Mercedes A class but if you buy a 2016 version you still won t beat the same A class. goes to show how INSANE that A45s is

Electric cars are not the future because history tells us no one can prodect the future, humans are failed times and times again trying to prodect the future, so why i should Believe that Electric cars are the future, we never learned from history.

I'd love to see some races where we have 'normal cars' and fast cars, to really give perspective on the speed of some of these cars we see. I'll bring my 508 down against a 720s and a 911 Turbo S if I can drive them both: )

Why would you use an e-hybrid? Regardless of power, the ice versions are so much faster. The E hybrids weigh as much as aircraft carriers! So frustrating when you do this.

Turbo is 1 trim/engine below Turbo S. The 2006 1st generation had Turbo S also, which came in at 521 PS initially, and the 2008 updated 1st gen Turbo S had 550 PS.

I owm a 2014 (958. 1) Porsche Cayenne S Diesel. Such an amazing car. It would be interesting to see how that car compares against the original Cayenne Turbo.

Why for the mk1 and mk2 dont you choose the top versione (turbo s)? Instead for the mk 3 the plus top version (hybrid)

What a fix! So you use the Turbo S for both later models, but just a standard Turbo, not an S or WLS for the early 955. Pointless comparison.
