How s THIS for a three-way German showdown! We ve got Yianni in the all-new Mercedes-AMG GT 63 S e-hybrid and he s facing off against Mat in a BMW M5 Competition and Daniel in a Porsche Panamera Turbo S e-hybrid. But which is quickest over the quarter mile? Well, let s take a closer look. Starting with the all-new AMG, it s powered by a 4-litre twin-turbo V8 coupled with an electric motor, which combines to produce 843hp and an incredible 1, 400Nm of torque! That hybrid system means it s pretty heavy though, weighing in at 2, 305kg! But it s not just the weight that s large, so is the price, with it costing around 174, 000! Even though it s heavy, it s not the heaviest here - that honour goes to the Porsche, which tips the scales at 2, 350kg! In terms of power, it s also equipped with a 4-litre twin-turbo V8 coupled with an electric motor to deliver 700hp and 870Nm. It s a fair bit cheaper than the AMG though, costing around 146, 000. Then finally we have the BMW. Packing a 4. 4-litre twin-turbo V8 under the bonnet, it s able to put down 625hp and 750Nm of torque. It s a whole lot lighter than the other contenders, though, coming in at 1, 865kg. It s also the cheapest here, costing around 110, 000.

Did BMW fix that M5 V8 twin-turbo engine now? The engine bearings normally fail around 70, 000 miles (just about when the warranty is up); so what's the point of owning such a car? It was a similar issue with the M5 V10 engines that would fail at 40, 000 miles. Eventually, I'm told that BMW just told owners to accept the bearing replacement as a part of their maintenance schedule. Utter rubbish!

Happy to see Daniel in the team bringing the German factor - meaning you can make jokes about us germans, love it!
How you pronounce the names of manufacturer - We over here always try to pronounce the way where they are coming from traditionally. French / Spanish / Czech etc. and yes also English if its an English car.

5: 25 drag race (10: 41 for the final one because the two imbeciles either keep jumping the start or accusing each other of that)
12: 38 comfort rolling race
13: 57 sport mode rolling race
15: 14 brake test

Matt's last jump start, Yanni actually won the race, they didn't need to do another run. Play the video at 0. 25 speed and pause it at the line and you will see Yanni is in front when they cross the line.

Great video as usual lads. I have a british passport, I was born in England, my parents were born in India and Bangladesh, according to Mat. I'm an Englishman. I don't think it works like that Mat hahaha

2: 40 Then the Polish people actually say these correct, we're used to saying Porsche like the Germans, and just a slight change in BMW (idk how to write that, but in polish it would be BeeMWu)

Bro I Hate Soft Limiter Because it's Dumb, And Useless And Nothing will happen if they made all new Cars with no Soft limiter. Love the Drag race keep up mate.

Daniel made my day speaking German in the first race. But the race between Matthew and Yani oh my gosh priceless these these guys know how to have fun.

That's not fair btw, that's the top of the line mercedes amg gt 63 s, but the M5 is no way near the top of the line, but the m5 still did good

Mat is so allergic to losing, that cry at 10: 17 had me on the floor, you'd swear he's fighting for his life. Great drag race though keep it up

My mom and dad (not watching, just can hear) like - Why are you watching mental patients in asylum? . So, so fun to watch the madness.

Side note; Yianni's family is from Cyprus, he was born in England. why can't he claim both? Americans do all the time. Anyway, carry on!

Daniel is a nice guy, but he is not very good in launching cars or not quick enough in reaction times, as in every try he started last

Get some better radio's Mat. You drive hundreds of thousands of pounds worth of vehicles and communicate via tin cans and string.
