These cars have some of the worst reputations in the automotive world. Some of them are slow, some are ugly, and some just plain dangerous but one thing they all have in common? People LOVE to HATE them. But despite their reputations, would you believe these hated cars are actually great? Roger: The only one on this list I owned was the Plymouth Neon. The 2. 0 liter engine went through three headgaskets, at Chrysler's expense, and the seat cover panels started to separate. BUT It always started up every morning and with the 5-speed it was quick for an econobox. Plus hit 2000 rpm and clutchless shifting was a breeze. It was a good car for me.

My first car was an 03 neon and it went through multiple transmissions which were actually really easy to change (I did the last one in 45 minutes from driving in to driving out of the shop) but outside of the transmission issues it was a great little car. It was cheap, it handled decently for driving it fast on back roads, it wasn't bad on gas, and it was easy to fix. The freedom of having a cheap car that I could thrash on at will was liberating.

Would love to see a vid on these. Hated car I love? 1988 Chrysler (Dodge) Shelby Daytona Z. 8 Position air bladder filled seats, Mitsubishi built 2. 2 L Turbo engine, Front Wheel Drive and when it came out, totally more expensive than a Z28 Oh, and 1988 Pontiac Fiero GT The poor man's Ferrari baby. though 1984 had it's, er, flaming growing pains (caused by fools not changing their oil/refilling when needed, DOH)

The ridgeline IS AN ODYSSEY MINI VAN Not a truck. The Mini vans third row seating storage is the Ridgelines bed trunk. the only car that shouldnt be on this list: is the Neon. say what u want about the neon, but mechanically speaking: the only real problem with the neon: didnt passed government crash test from any angle, & their transmissions were junk.

I die inside everytime I see these NA car shows because here in Brazil most cars are under 100hp. My 2. 0 Astra is considered very fast by our standards with 120hp and hearing someone call the Miata slow because its 115-ish hp while its about 300kg lighter than my Astra makes me want to move out from here (but I woukd still bring my Astra with me.

Priuses are not cheap, they are built cheap, in my country a lot of used BMWs and Mercedes' cost less than a used Prius, you can get a Tesla Model 3 (base model) at around the same price as a new Prius. It's such an ugly car and the fact that every car or every second car on the road is a Prius makes it pretty much worthless.

The aztek, with tent. The last gen, Thunderbird 6. 0 powerstroke ( seriously, hate diesels but I loved my 6. 0) Lincoln mks from 2011(ugly but it's a SHO under the skin) Mk3 Supra, non turbo. Slow, but fun. Cheap. Pt cruiser, gt, purple, with flames. (my grandma had one, kinda badass for a grandma)I'll probably keep adding to this

The third gen MR2 It is the lightest and best handling MR2, and has a much better power to weight than the 2nd and first gen NA cars. Sure it's not a very attractive car, but your only other option for an affordable mid engine car from this millennium is a 2000s Boxster, which is a lot heavier and has German repair bills.

I don't think Uber is so popular in less populated areas. I've never ridden in an Uber and pretty much everyone I know hasn't either, and we're not even that small of a town. Technically we're a city. So saying Pretty much everyone in America has probably ridden in a Prius is a bigass stretch. Great video though

No one ever mentions the mk2 celicasupra 1982-85 they are light on their feet come with 175hp stock inline 6 5 speed the ae86 uses parts from this car i own one and i love this thing to death. Ive owned so many cars and the mk2 is the best one, yes i even owned a ae86 and its nothing compared to the mk2 celicasupra
