So, in order for a movie to be considered a car movie per say, the movie has to 1. have a car in it. The movies that are most considered car movies are usually race movies and chase movies. Example: fast and furious. The other side of the spectrum is a movie that does not contain a car in it that is used by a main character or described as a main character. Example: The Croods. So in order for a movie like back to the future to be considered a car movie, it must have a car as a center of focus or at least a car or cars that is are used by a main character for the duration of the time the automobile is in the scene. So I would consider back to the future a car movie because every time it is scene, it is always used or described by the main characters. The Delorean is the subject most talked about in that movie and it is actually linked to the main goal of the movie.

Instead of an episode of just the bond cars, it should be an episode of 'The Transporter' & John Wick as well. P. s. would the movie Grand Torino be considered a car movie? I know its literally the name of thee car, but the movie isn't the main focus nor is there any chance scenes.

The Saleen in Bruce Almighty was owned by Jim Carrey at the time the movie was made. The Bond Lotus submarine was lost for many years before being found in a storage unit. It was sold at auction to Elon Musk who is working on making it a functional submarine.
