What are they gonna do with a Hurucan in a high speed chase? Risk crashing it just to catch a perp? It's not exactly practical when your police cars cost the tax payer hundreds of thousands for a single unit. Forgetting the costs of the basic maintenance of these cars. I mean I get the transport utility, but surely there are cheaper ways.

These was/is one Mustang police car in the UK, it was loaned to different police forces by Ford UK and although it was used for active policing, its primary job was just for PR, it was taken to car shows and such to get car enthusiasts involved with the police in a positive light.

I was once in WA Australia driving in the middle of a desert road in a Toyota Kluger. The speed limit was 120 and I was driving like 130. Suddenly a Police Kia Stinger in the opposite lane made a sharp u turn and chased me down with the siren. Pretty scary experience.

Even though Germanys famous Highway system doesnt have speed limits anywhereThats not true. Only 70% of the Autobahn is unresteicted. The Rest is restricted to 120 kph or 130 kph. And the unresteicted parts can be restricted too by automated road signs above the road

the autobahn doesnt have speed limits anywhere yes the actualy do, there is more speed restricted autobahn than there is derestricted one, also not a single of those tuner made cop cars are actual cop cars. they just look the part, but doesnt serve to the police units

You were wrong in the German part. You said we dont have any speedlimits on the Autobahn. We actually have many. There are only a few parts of the Autobahn left that have no speed limit at all. Most of the time you are allowed to drive 100 or 120 km/h.

I live in New South Wales in Australia, and although they don't have anymore v8 commodores and falcons, I can confirm that they have BMW's and in Dubbo where I live, there is a Chrysler with a supercharged hemi in it

Here in Florida we got Fusions, Impalas, some old crown vics, some old Chargers and the newer Ford Explorers so I mean we don't have much here in the sunshine state. Haven't seen anything above the cars I mentioned.
