Pimp My Ride, Monster Garage, and Unique Whips were THEE car shows back in the 2000's. Before the days of Donut Media: ) all we had was MTV and Speed Channel. But these shows were always so wild and kooky -- WHY?

Pimp my ride was so bad looking back on it, now that I know so much more about cars and the car industry and how all this stuff works. Still, its one of the things what got me into cars and car modification as a kid in the first place, so it has a soft spot in my heart just like Fast and furious does.

There's Rust Valley Restorers which is actually pretty entertainingdude, no. that show is just 99% money issues and barely anything about the car, they show you that the car has problems, and just gloss over how they fix them if they talk about them at all.

Trick my truck was a sick show, the trucks they produced were awesome and the themes they had for the trucks were cool too. All that chrome, colorful paint, and custom interiors looked far more at home on a big rig than on a car like on other shows.

It's been a while, but I think what probably happened, was that some baller wanted 500 hours worth of work done in 5 days. Will says, Yeah, we can do that. Remi, already exhausted by ridiculous deadlines, can't take it anymore, and walks out.

LOL, good idea for a topic. Those shows were goofy. But mostly, basic cable comes up with one good idea, and everyone else rips it off, then repeat. Pimp My Ride was one of those ripped-off shows. It's been happening for about 25 years now.

Thought you were going to bring up Orange County Choppers. yea it's about bikes but it was part of those building shows. Also. can't forget about the man show right after battle bots which was after junkyard wars. classic father-son TV

I love your show watch it every week but wheel house nos energy ads are not as good as James. So how about have Nolan take a bath in nos and he gets super powers. Like hes now faster then his mustang

I forgot about all of these shows. My favorite show was Unique Whips. I definitely thought it was more practical than the other 2 when I was younger lol and looking back I can see I was right

Monster garage and pimp my rides was sick. I love both shows, but monster garage helped peak interest in cars. They are actually going to make another monster garage according to Jesse James

you forgot MTV Tuner Challenge where a group of contestant showed up with a car literally half assembled as they argued over the paintjob. And there was an Accord with a face of a Mercedes C-Class.
