And THAT is why I missed the best investment of my life by NOT buying a 250 GTO in 1967 for 6000. No deadening, plastic sliding windows, aluminum floors. The same cables to open the doors that don't lock. I didn't mind the noise because I was 18. Not pretty inside like street Ferraris. But I had no idea what it was so I didn't buy it. But Doug has shown why I didn't buy it. Still, if I knew the future I would have bought it and be rich today.

James May stayed in a Vantage race car to find the best driving roads. Not a car I can imagine has a harder suspension than a Vantage race car. Just search it up, he was wet that's how hot it was. When he stepped out he couldn't just walk normally, that's how harshly the ride quality is. I bet if he found a gun in the car he would have used it along the way.

And this is by racecar standards still a quite comfy car, you have padding in the seat, a hole in the window, and paddleshifters: D imagine no brakeservo, straight cut gearbox, solid plastic windows and a tillet carbon fibre seat: D man i hope i never get to drive some shit like that on the road.

You would think that while their racing they would want to be cooled down so they can focus better. Is it not possible to put an air conditioning in that without losing some of the cars performance?
