So, I just realized that there's a new video on this car, and I haven't watched it yet. That engine should absolutely have no problems making 200 whp. I mean, if a Honda 1. 5L 16V single cam can easily make 200 whp on a turbocharged setup and withstand years of abuse like mine did, the Toyota 1. 8L DOHC 16V engine should have no problem holding together, even getting the absolute shit kicked out of it.

Sounds like my V8 XE falcon ute I call The Turd total around 15k, reco mild 302 engine 240rwhp, few intake manifolds, built auto & stall, 4. 11lsd, & still haven't ran faster then 15. 0017 with wheelspin, put slicks on & run slower LOL, ran 15. 62 with dying auto

Ive heard of turbo cars breaking because of flooring it up to redline and then instantly taking your foot off the accelerator quickly and Im pretty sure this was proof of that. Theres definitely a reason it broke right on the finish line. This is just a warning to any other turbo guys out there. I used to do the same thing in my Subaru but now I try not to.

Just proves the point. If it wasnt designed for it dont add it. Bolt on horsepower kills motors. Fun when they run but they only run a short time. Of course you have to upgrade the internal parts of the motor. Chances are the oil pressure couldnt keep up.

Should have bought a matrix engine, the 2ZZGE, it has an 11. 1: 1 compression ratio, forged pistons and an aluminium block and it would have cost the same from the wreckers, only difference would be dramatically more power and no blow up.

Turbo'd engines are cool, but getting two laps out of one is pretty bad lmao. Maybe some tuning and figuring out if oil flow is a problem, and that Toyota engine will be reliable again, but still, lot of work for what it is lol.

stock engines are so exciting! we knew yaris hilton wouldn't make it long, but the timing was impeccable. she put on a real show, made the outro montage hilarious. hope Moog had fun making the song for this one episode.

whenever I think im 100% sure its rod knock from bearing I remember the other video of the yaris when its starting knocking sound and I was also then 100% sure it was rodknock and wrong. now im only 90% sure.
