Really great to see this MR2 basically being fully restored. Both the AW11 and the SW20 are two of the most enjoyable and rewarding cars you could find yourself driving. But I'll never forget the first time I drove an SW20, because I instantly bonded with it, like I'd been driving it for years. Within a few minutes of getting in the car I just understood it, and I had no fears about kicking the clutch and getting the tail out around some tight roads. Even with it's quirks, never has a car felt more right to me to drive than an SW20, especially after only a few minutes in drivers seat. I always tell people if they have the chance to own or drive an SW20, you just HAVE to do it.

Did I miss it, or did you change the cooling pipe that seems to be positioned in the worse place possible? Having sold Toyota MR2's, Supra's and Celicas back in the day in the UK, as well as owning 3 MR2's it's great to see one on the show. Both of you and your mad spirt, imagination and blend of car content make for cracking viewing entertainment, look forward to the next ping from the notifications, it's keeping me distracted, and others I'm sure whilst going through our UK Lockdown. Keep it up. Just awaiting my first mech order; 0) #chopped

Good content and always interested in the parts you use but sometime the logic fails me on cost especially when shipping from the US and exchange rates and other things. not to mention that turbo link doesn't even have a updated flow map?
Ultimately your car and money but i would love to start seeing more tech specs when your building stuff

I hope Marty does keep the mr2. Rare find anywhere in the world that isnt honestly that abused or been messed with alot. But I honestly still just cant stop my self from not really paying attention to marty or moog does anymore. But only to be watching the background for stuff moving or fallin. I am waitting to see what's gonna happen next lol

Yep, had those cars. A lot of work to get to things. Did timing belt replacements etc not much fun. On the flip side fantastic cars to drive and very responsive and very fast. Went for a drive one day, 6000 km's later I came to my destination. And then I had the drive back home, LOL. The GTS Bathurst pack was my favourite. Good video. Cheers

I love your garage and hoist Marty.
Just out of curiosity, why isn't the show filmed in your garage? It's got excellent lighting, all the kit. And you don't have to break your back laying on the ground.
Is it a geographical issue of Moog living too far away from you, or does your missus not allow Moog near the house?

You really spent an entire minute on that joke to get Moog to hand you something from the trunk? 7: 05 - 8: 05? What a silly, self indulgent, pointless, ridiculous, childish choice. I loved it.
10/10, top content as always boys. Saving our sanity while we're all staying home as we ought to. Thank you from Americaland.

A 5th injector. Into the intake. Ah, the old injectors couldn't either provide quite enough fuel, or more likely couldn't quite manage to atomize and mix the fuel thoroughly enough; or a bit of both. So just add an injector to the air intake to make up for the issue. Bob's your uncle.

Just watch out boosting a gen 2 3sgte as they are known to pop headgaskets around 14psi, gen 3 are the ducks guts 18psi fuel cut factory vs 12psi gen 1 and 2, plus gen 3 had 550cc injectors, ct20b turbo, different ecu, triple synchros on box plus many more differences (rev3 turbo sw20)

I've all faith in the car, this car has one of Toyota's best and greatest 4 cylinder engine design in conjunction with Yamaha there's no doubt you will loose against that pocket rocket. you are doing a great job on this car making it even better. #3sgte/ge my favorite toyota engine.
