Aftermarket tachometer is falling off the dash, dents all in it, and lord know what lies beneath that bed liner, and you wont go get a matching mirror thats not beat up because its not original? its your money your truck do your thing. frankly, i would drive it just like that because it looks fine but you said you dont want to out a lot into it. unsure why you are locking yourself to factory parts on a 50 year old car. just drive it dude. its beautiful just like that. and go to oreilly and get a damn mirror

I remember these Lil Trucks real well, we had one we camped in, oh buy the way. The Brackets on each corner of the Bed is for Camper Tie-Downs. I think the bed came off of a 3/4 ton truck with the Tie-Downs on it. the half tons Did Not have this package option. The Radio is Not Factory either its been added also. I hope you get some better Gas mileage than we did those 360s were Not Good on gas. It is in pretty good shape for its age.

Now pick one. 40, 000 for a new F-150 or 900 for that. A set of good tires for the new F-150 cost more than that 69 truck did. And the man said. but you dont know what I paid for these tires. they only cost 625 for all four. To which I responded. Yea and in 73 I was offered a used 67 for 695 and around that time that was what you expected topay for a used Pu truck. So dont tell me about how you only paid 625 for a set of tires.

What does he mean by 3 speed on a tree? I never heard of that term. My dad used to drive old Ford trucks, and they had the same gear selector as his. I have no idea how he thinks that is an anti theft device. Most older vehicles had the gear selector on the column. Pretty much all American vehicles in the 1980s and 1990s had them. The only cars that did not usually were sports cars like the Corvette.

That is beautiful Forget the paint, I think it looks great. Id just put quiter mufflers on and maybe pay to have all that mess of wires organized and color coded or whatever. If you dont like that air filter, change it. Only thing i dislike is the manual but that can be changed for a 5 speed auto so you cn get better mileage on the highway. Low mileage. Great little machine. Have fun.

I would take that truck over pretty much any new so called pickup truck they make now days given my druthers. You can work on a truck like that. It is not bloated with a ton of worthless electronics and sensors. Real metal used for parts instead of craptastic plastic everywhere. Runs without magic.

Love the truck man I bought my 77 F-150 longbed during hurricane Florence this past year for 540 because it needed a new flywheel. Fixed it myself along with other things and it is dead reliable. Sure, the short beds look cool but I prefer the functionality of the long beds. Cheers
