This is soooo unlike Scotty we all know: Promoting a little piece of junk in the middle of a park? I wonder whether uncle Scotty got a CALL from the THE JUNK YARD? ! This little spark is just A BIG LOSER! I wonder why GM even bothers with it? Firstly, it is just NOT SAFE to drive such a tiny car! Regardless where you drive whether in the city or on the highway, if you get hit by an SUV or a truck or even a mid size car, you will be squished like a bug! Secondly, it s very uncomfortable, has no room for anything and zero power. Thirdly, most compact to mid size vehicle will give you well over 30 miles a gallon, let alone gas is cheap, so Sparks 37 MPG is nothing to be impressed about. The bottom line is, if you are on a budget, you will be much better off by purchasing a used Toyota Corolla for 6000 instead of shelling out 13, 000 for this absolutely useless Spark!

CVT transmission wont last on that car for sure. The Trax is made in Korea & China also but not CVT they use 6 speed automatic. Trax is made in the Hyundai/Kia factory there. If the vin # starts with KL then its made in Korea. If vin # starts with C then China & if it's made in made in Mexico then vin # will start with a 3. Equinox made in China & Mexico & also uses a 6 speed automatic transmission.

Wife bought one 2 weeks ago, i was just as surprised with the pep it has in its step. 4 days in, got a door dent in a parking lot. 1000 to repair, i laughed and said well, resale went from nothing to less than nothing haha. But honestly, its a great car so far.

I hear that the new 2021 Trailblazer is going to have a CVT transmission with a simulated shift. I saw a video review of one and it had an auto-manual shift button on the gear lever. To be honest, I've never seen a more pointless item on a car in my life.

I'm a Courier and this is the kind of car I drive. The seats are hard as rocks. I'm 5'10 and have no leg room. They get about 25mpg average. It is what it is. Have 70, 000 on it, change the oil regurally, and drive it like I stole it. I guess it's okay.

Yes, mine is a manual transmission.
It's just so darn small. When I get it paid off in another couple of years, I'm going to sell it for something bigger. Probably a Camry.

My stepmother loved hers and even named it the Tommy Toe because it was bright red and tommy toes are what well call those iddy biddy tomatoes where we live. As much as she loved it the CVT started to go at 25, 000 miles so she got rid of it

The Chevy Spark is a GM Daewoo. Years ago, the Chevy Spectrum was just a rebadged Isuzu I Mark. Isuzu Dealers could not keep them in stock, yet the Chevy Dealer across the street could not hardly give them away with Chevrolet nameplate on it.
