Edison hired Nicoli Tesla to join th invention team.
He told Tesla that if he could perfect the light bulb, invented years before, but they only lasted a few minutes, he would give him a 100, 000 bonus.
Tesla did in fact get a light bulb to work for months using tungsten, still used today.
When Tesla asked about the bonus, Edison said he was only kidding, ripping off yet another young inventor.
George Westinghouse built a hydro-electric generating plant at the base of Niagara Falls, most of which is still there.
He was working with Tesla on the project.
Ford used mostly Firestone tires, and his son married Firestone's daughter.

Ford's dream of making cars affordable is slowly falling apart. Prices are getting crazy. A Ford factory worker can't afford a new Ford car on 4 months salary anymore! Also, if it weren't for the Rockefellers, we would have been mostly driving electric vehicles the last 120 years. They used their financial and political ties to ensure gasoline transportation became the primary means of transportation due to their investments in fossil fuel companies.

I found a 1992 celica gt on craigslist with 170k miles on it but it has new power steering rack, alternator, tires, and a few other things. It's a 5 speed manual with a 2. 2 liter engine. The person says 3k or best offer, so I may get it down to 2500. Looks pretty much brand new, and its adult owned and driven. I would use it for a daily driver. I will take it into a local mechanic nearby before buying it. Good choice if theres nothing wrong with it?

Scotty random question I'm a young technician and I have a 2015 camaro ss I've replaced the brake pads and rotors at the same time twice and after a week or to i start hearing sqiling or screeching and I spray brake cleaner on them and it stops for like an hour is there any thing I can check to see to get my brakes or rotors to stop making noise

What happened to Henry Ford's dream today, to make cars affordable to every American? Brand new cars seem so expensive. Ok, I live in UK so maybe I dont count, but I'v had 3 ford focus's and really enjoy them. I only buy 2nd hand about 10 years old as thats what I can afford and they last me 5-8 years until the rust gets to them.

I love the history and was all about Ford most of my life. He made cars affordable. Way better than horses or bicycles. Today every one can afford many things and many cars are no longer affordable. What do you think of Toyota moving assembly to Mexico from Texas for the tacoma?

I guess it can be said that Henry Ford was a believer in Trickle down economics nowadays as the Democrats don t believe it and the tax rates that corporations pay is excessive compared to the other companies in the world. So Ronald Regan was somehow right.
