I look at other people's layouts as though they were landscape paintings, but 3 dimensional and with some moving elements. At Ally Pally both Redbridge Wharf and Arun Quay were excellent examples, they caught the atmosphere and the ethos of the times so well. The contrast from my early modelling in the 1960's and what people and manufacturers achieve these days is staggering.

Tim, I have commented on some of your NZ videos before-wish I had known you were filming as I would have chatted to you. Actually I may have anyway, that was me manning the stand at DCCConcepts?

12: 14 This model is operating on the same method as that used by the Zig-Zag Railway at Lithgow, west of Sydney, NSW. Sadly though, that line has been out of action for some years now.

Hi Tim, I think this is the most professional video I've seen of the show this year. When is part 2 coming out? And I'm hoping that my layout (Beijiao) makes an appearance. -

Set-ups like these aren't just bunged into the back of a ute, station wagon or panel van to be carted around to exhibits like this. It would take -AGES- to set these displays up.

I so enjoy model trains. Thank you for sharing. Some of these builds are far and above what I have but I love watching them.
