The only sacrificed area is Sicily but this is more the fault of Sicilian politicians (perhaps the world does not know but Sicilians govern themselves and unfortunately do not do it very well. However the only thing that has been abandoned for now is the idea of running these trains at 360 km. For the rest, the Freccia Rossa seems to be the most efficient and comfortable trains around Europe. In this regard at first I was skeptical too but after trying some of this AV trains in different countries I changed my mind.

I am Italian and I was part of the first ever commercial ride of freccia Rossa, this was in a special train, we got put in economy but thier was a resturaunt that maybe we walked on or two cabins sat down on a table with wooden chairs and a red carpet and then a waiter came with a menu but sadly they had this normal resturaunt as you would see on land operational on only one train that was put down after 1 year

Trenitalia gained a very bad reputation between the 1990s and the early 2000s, then they came out with such a product like Frecciarossa.
However the train wasn't very crowded because it isn't faster than a normal train (the high speed line is still under construction, between Milan and Turin, for example, things are very different.

Now Trenitalia has inserted a new class called -Standard Silenzio- (Standard Silence. Seats are like the Standard class, but it's forbidden to do noisy things (like listening to music at full volume, talking on the phone and so on. Ideal for relaxing and focusing on work/school/university stuff

They even have four classes in the frecciarossa, called economy, premium, business and executive. But the prices are very well, premium is mostly only a little bit more expensive than economy and business only a little bit more than premium. Executive can cost up to double time of business.

Is there like a luggage space area somewhere in the coach? i am travelling with a suitcase, the kind that you check in on flights. Do these trains of trenitalia have such luggage compartments? i did see some space in between but nothing was too clear. thankyou for your help.

Frecciarossa Business Class is fantastic! The seats are beyond comfortable and with electric recline. just great. Also the price is not much more than a standard seat, especially if you book early (which I did. For me, this was the best train in Europe.

FS won a contract to operate in Thailand's High Speed 3 Airport rail links.
So excited!
But I highly doubt their trains would be as nice in Thailand though they would have to change some designs to withstand a year round high temperature.

I used a railpass pass during my vacation to italy and traveled on Frecciarossa standard class between Milan, Venice, Florence, Rome, and Naples. Very fast trains, and you have a decent cafe to get lunch or dinner on longer distance day trains.

Beautiful train but sad to see it so empty. Public transport is great but there should be some aspectos of private sector objectives. I am sure with some imagination the occupancy can improve, same happens here in Spain

I rode it from Napoli to Roma. It was fantastic. everything you showed on this video was right on. I rode the Acela and it was fine, but prefer going back to Italia and riding those trains.

Wow, wish we had trains like this in the US. I took the Frecciarossa 1000 from Milan to Florence in Business class, it was an amazing train, best so far I travelled with in Europe.
