riding with the door open is dangerous only if there happens to be a person riding -at- the door.
people, contrary to popular belief, tend to not-want to engage in dangerous behavior if they can help it.
so, common custom is to -not- stand -at the dangerous opening- while the train is -moving at dangerous speeds-
there not-being a regulation to keep the door closed or otherwise secured, and there not-being any kind of safety protection on crossings or rail beds, is simply common sense at play relying on people not-wanting to put themselves in danger in the first place.
it's only a tragedy if man happens to cross in front of train, where train -will- transit through a fixed path with no chance of steering clear.
if you want to not-have a tragedy, not-stand in front of train, who can't possibly not-run-you-over.
yes, I have to say it with double negatives, because some people won't understand the direct imperative. so I have to go backwards.

Hello, I am from the north of Argentina, in the littoral region of the province of Formosa. -
I saw the map in the minutes, 2: 31 is somewhat outdated or outdated, at present here in my province no longer exist those trains and less in the small rural towns of my province and less here in the capital of the city of my province. -
There used to be those trains, passenger and freight trains, but nowadays there are none unfortunately due to the political and historical situation of our country at a national level, they only exist in the capital city of Buenos Aires and in the province of Buenos Aires, of those provinces there, in the center of the country, there are only trains in very few provinces, so please take care of yourself!

The turnover of the locomotive only happens on sundays and holidays, because they have to use the shift machine at the end of the track, so they park the train a little further away. The rest of the days, when the service has more frecuency, there is always another locomotive parked in the station ready to be hooked up to an incoming train. That locomotive was left there by the previous train, and so on. So, you only have to walk that far on sundays and holidays.

the best train in lstinoameria. I remember when I took it every morning to go to school. I still use that train every day of my life. punctual. the route is from the capital to the most rural areas. 9/10. It is not ten because it makes a lot of noise. but anyway if you come to argentina do not forget to take the belgrano norte and if you want to live an unprecedented experience visit the -grand bourg- station great city

If you like open doors, you should check out the Mumbai local trains! We have wide, open doors and the frequency is really impressive (every 2-5 mins) unless you-re going like 100 kms away from the city.
Sure, it can get really crowded but a first class ticket during non - rush hour in a train that doesn-t go to the last stop is quite calm and fun.

Folks, for the first time in almost four years of Simply Railway, this is the first time where. THERE IS NO TOILETS TIME!
Usually, toilets time is a critical criterion for me to decide if I'm recording the journey. This one is an exception (because of Boulogne Sur Mer)
Don't worry, there is way more Toilets Time to come; )

6: 02 really common here, some also can play music or simply beg for money with a sad story
only thing i never get was why people give a photo of their dni (id, surely begging for money, but i found it weird that there was no story written on the paper as for why they need it or sell religious stamps instead like a lot does

I'm glad you liked the experience of riding on the door of the train, it's really cool, around 6PM the views are amazing. ;) Usually the train workers go through all of the wagons in order to make sure all the doors are closed, except when it's really crowded.

Great video my friend! Belgrano Norte is one of the best maintained lines here in Argentina, even being diesel still. Those G22 locomotives fly between Retiro station and Ciudad Universitaria at 90KMH or 60 MPH depending on where yo live.
reply

I love to see the Belgrano Norte represented in any way!
We (me and my band El Fracaso) filmed the travel from Boulogne Sur Mer to Grand Bourg in our full album video, it sure is an interesting journey!
Thank you so much for this

this was the mos efective train during the privatization of all the lines from argentian trough the time most of them woluld be restatizad again ecept this one, i sopusose becoause the good job the company have done all this 25 years

Merci, fascinating report! A couple notes:
2: 58 It may also be that far because the platform height was too low near the station
4: 08 -They have ample bicycle storage- - though apparently no place to lean/attach and lock a bike

reply

You should make a video about commuter trains in India called as local trains. Kolkata and Mumbai are cities that have amazing local train service. It is a lot more crowded, completely electrified and has amazing vibes.

I lived near one of this train stops my whole life and watching someone have such a different perspective and experience with it is rather entertaining.
hope you have a hot dog from the retiro station, they're the best.

Man I love trains, I love your content, I took the Belgrano Norte everyday for like 9 years to come back from school and university, a piece of my heart is with that train, so I i'm glad you have been able to ride it!
reply

Well, I must say, you were lucky, you made your videos and managed to keep all your belongings: D haha. Thank for making us look good. Now we are all intrigued to see how your hometown looks like.
reply

is the cheapest option for many of us, i travel every day in it and it's dirty, cold as siberia in winter, an oven in summer there's no security and the staff is rude. awful
reply

I'm surprised both commuter train operators in Buenos Aires don't have push-pull trains or multiple units. They might be some of the last commuter train operators to do so
reply

if you made one more train station, the one from Vice Alirante Montes on that route goes at a higher speed, . the longest route is from Del Viso to Villa Rosa.
reply

Nice video my friend! The heart attack you get when you get a passing train on the other of the tracks when traveling at AEP section is from another world!
reply

You get pickpocketed, people throw rocks at the train, get hit by the train, and so many other things on a daily basis. An absolute nightmare of a train line
reply

As someone who takes this train every day: this train is a slop that should be totally destroyed. It's shit for all standards, including Argentines
reply

I take this train everyday! I didn't expect to see it in my yt feed being documented by someone of a different country, awesome -
reply

Oh, why is it called Boulogne s Mer?
An Argentine General died there In France!
Maybe it says on the video, I haven't finished yet

reply

It's an old diesel train but it still has more bike storage and much better frequencies than our commuter trains in the Milan area.
reply

Remember that, this railway is operated by a Private operator, Trenes Argentinos is from the state!
reply

The seats are actually worse than a bus as most buses have some kind of padding
reply

The shape of the passenger carriages are similar to British and Indian railways!
