I am a fan of the railroads and I am going to travel to the United States in the month of June next. I will visit the cities of Los Angeles, Las Vegas and San Francisco and possibly San Diego. I need to know what routes it recommends to do, either between cities or urban systems, such as trams in different cities. Which route recommends me to do with beautiful views. -

Hey Mike, did you ever or still live in San Diego before? Because ever since you started, San Diego was sorta like your base of operations other than LA when I thinked about it! Anyway watching Coaster and Surfliner trains NEVER gets old! Thanks for this great video Mike!

Good idea to get shots of the Morrison Knudsen and F59 PHI locos. The M-Ks are to be replaced by Siemens Chargers and the F59s cant last forever either. The look of Coaster trains is about to change a lot, and no more double heading on Comic Con weekend

I ride the coaster from San Diego to Oceanside to pick up my grandkids. One hour trip. Friday nights my nephew drives from Sorrento Valley to Oceanside for work takes him two hours!

Great Mike! Question, why do Coaster engines and cars have the small black pointy funnels on the roof? What are they? Also, why did Coaster remove the fuel tank side shields on 3001 & 3002?

3: 48 my favorite shot and second favorite cabcar. I just LOVE the coaster more than anything! My favorites are for cabcars 2309, 2310 and 2302 and for F40s are 2105, 2101 and 2104.
