You definitely need salt if you are vegan and working out frequently. Sweating is a natural process, and expels salt in that process. Adding salt is very important in a high-good carbohydrate diet. Salt gives us an electrical charge, also known as electrolytes. Too much water can dilute those electrolytes. Sodium chloride just carries it to the blood stream. That's why too much salt gives high blood pressure, because of higher concentrations of salt and not enough water. But with too much water and not enough sodium, it can work the other way around and can effect the nervous system and the ability to oxygenate the blood.

I know if I don't add some salt to my diet (only a little of mineral salt when I cook, I get salt deficient really quick. My muscle strength depletes, I get headaches, I feel really weak, and sometimes if I try to ignore it I get various cases of nausea. I don't think salt is a common enemy (I agree low sodium diets are good, but salt is still needed and sometimes it takes more then what you're eating. Same with iron, I have a hard time absorbing/keeping iron in me. Anyone else have similar problems?

I just saw this video. I cut out the salt and fat. I am 54 years old. I have been running around 6 miles or more every day and even did the marathon 1 year ago. I am not over weight but would like to slim down. have been doing this for 3 years. have done all nasty diets and exercise excessively over the past years till now, would loose weight but look unhealthy. I weight 118 a few months ago 113 pounds looking for suggestions.

Weight loss green store tea has been really helping me lose weight naturally. I highly recommend it if you want to lose at least 2 to 3 pounds every week without rigid work out.

I really don't like the dude. He's always talking and always showing off her body. Like it makes her look egotistical when it's just him always bringing attention to her body.

Freelee, you could have just packed your bags and left back then already. He didn't respect you as a person really, and you were not really happy were ya?

I disagree about salt, salt equal taste, no salt not much taste, I personally can't touch unsalted potatoes, health damage is to minimal to even consider.
