Oh man am I getting excited! Watching our roof and walls go up is an amazing feeling. I am loving the way our homing is starting to look Alisha: This was the first Jake and Nicole video I watched. -- I'm now a regular viewer and I'm loving your journey. Because I'm me I'm also going back to watch from the beginning. Couple of moments that I keep thinking about, so far. Nicole, you mentioned that you thought if you were an animal you would be a duck. Imma have to suggest you meditate on that one. We have a couple(she's blind in one eye and has a bum leg, he acts as her seeing eye bodyguard) & as sweet and really cool as they are. they are so gross and messy. They live in our fenced garden and the poo machines are walking fertilizer. --. now I forgot the other thing. It'll come back to me, maybe. Anyway, prepare to have a new friend, I like it here. -

Im watching your videos in the wrong order and only now catching up with the earlier ones. its fantastic to watch you both and seeing how well you both get on (love the dancing guys thought i was bad lol)
sorry not liked every clip i forget but enjoyed them all and looking forward to all the rest. as for the comments from trolls. you do what your enjoying to do, you cant please everyone guys and the most important thing is you please yourselves and stuff everyone else, they dont have to watch you do they, their not tied to a seat so maybe they should get off their butts and go and do something like you have and see how well they manage. keep up the good work and HAVE FUN DOING IT.

This is weird, I liked when I saw the first video of the entire construction of the yurt, then managed to come and have a look at the other content and see that it is all a bit wrong. A pure and clean message to be sold, but only it seems by tapping into the dirty and low self esteemed individuals that will be tempted by a curious thumb nail. I can't contribute to a peoples with such a fake and false, disingenuous intent. These people are not at all who they are portraying themselves to be, that is very evident by the way they go about assuring income.

Yeah I checked the manual and that's how Pacific Yurt says to install it - climb a stepladder and put it through the skylight! Has to be a better way? A rope? Pull it up from the ground outside?
And, it makes my heart feel good to see you two backing each other up - taking the load, checking the ladder, communicating continuously. Its a long way to help from where you are! You each have only one person to depend on.

Can't quite find the adjectives right now for anybody deliberately doing soft porn clickbait like this these days - especially people who purport to be working to get humanity back to where we need to be- ffs
Not watching beyond the opening image. Thumbs down.
Maybe have a word with yourselves about what you're really trying to achieve? And what you're not willing to compromise in order to do so?

Videos are entertaining but using half naked girlfriend as thumbnail for mushrooms hunting! Are you really think that it is appropriate in of griddle life style! I also don't want to watch and listen to you smacking your mouth 2 or 3 times during a video. I can imagine how you're eating, everyone does it same way. I'm unsubcribing. What a pity guys.

8: 09, Don't do this boys and girls when you build your Yurt. Jake & Nicole were very fortunate they didn't hurt themselves. It's always good to learn from other people's mistakes so you can do it safely and securely. One last question I have is I wonder how Jake will put the plexiglass dome on top of the Yurt? I know, just wait and see.

6: 20, Where's the scaffolding your neighbor was going to let you use? Now would be a good time to have it. I have seen your latest video to date and I watched the wood stove being used, so I know you didn't fall off of the step ladder. But you should have had something to work off of.

Yea it's click bait but I'm still watching. Btw Jake you never ever stand on the top of a tall ladder especially with no one stabilizing it. Bad idea! I think I would have rigged some sort of rope and pulley setup and hoisted it up through that hole. Best of luck!

Please ignore the few negative comments here. You guys are doing a totally awesome job and I am loving your videos. I've done a lot of video myself, and, as I am sure you have realized, there is a steep but super-fun learning curve. Enjoy your journey.
