BUILDING an OFF GRID YURT in the FOREST - START TO FINISH // LOW COST YURT Made of BAMBOO - Ep. 118 In LOVE with this yurt colour! This 16' diameter yurt from features a minimalist design which includes a lattice wall made of bamboo, yurt center dome ring made of bamboo, and cedar front door. To build the yurt platform, Jake and Nicole used all materials found on their own property minus the plywood for the deck. The yurt stilts, yurt platform support beams, yurt deck blocking, and concrete sand/rock were all found on site and local and chainsaw milled custom by Jake and Nicole. The reason the yurt is up so high on the deck is because we live in one of wettest and rainiest places on Earth getting over 15 feet of rain annually. We are nicknaming this yurt Galicia and it will be our guest cabin and residence of the Komorebi property manager! Let us know what features we should build inside the yurt and outside around the yurt in the comments below!

I appreciate that you Americans use Italian-style coffee, but I don't understand this mania for grandeur, of using the 12-person coffee maker, don't you know that the best coffee is made with small coffee makers, the -moka express- the model for three doses is perfect for two persons. 12 doses? Don't think about keeping it, because it loses all its fragrance. We in Italy, when needed if there are many of us, we do it several times, the more you do it the better it is- a note, after that the coffee maker only needs to be rinsed but not washed. Greetings from Rome Italy, ciao

-After making the purchase I got all the shed plans and woodworking blueprints within 5 minutes. And the great thing is that I got the product for a lower price as there are no shipping costs which is really affordable --justu. faith-- However, if you prefer buying the CD then you can buy this Shed Plans with extra benefit! -

I haven't done any research on your backstory but in the first 5 minutes I see the chap effortlessly stretch his leg-out to rest on a chest-high wooden beam. You've enviable flexibility - my hamstrings are like tension cables due to lifting heavy weights and desk-based working. I really need to address the issue!

I hate to burst your bubble but the pitsburg persimmon was the first metal head golf club and wasn't invented til 1979. Still a beautiful set, but not from the 1800s. Also there wouldn't have been a left handed set in the 1800s you would have been forced to learn to use your right -

OMG I hate myself for not being there for you guys-
I would be running around with fairy wings on building everything like my pants where on fire.
I-m still catching up on your journey-
I need to make some money-
Love you guys, you really are perfect and inspiring.

I-m soooo jealous. Wish I was younger to be able to go back to living like that. I was raised with no electricity or running water and in a house built on from a chicken coop. But I wouldn-t change my childhood for anything in this world it taught me a lot about survival

(Monday morning quarterbacking) wouldn-t it have been easier to leave the plywood intact so that you could have walked on it as you were connecting the side cover to the yurt? Then you could have trimmed it off when you were finished.

Amazing, amusing and admirable as all this stuff and these guys are, I feel a little master click baited to ALWAYS see Nicholle's truly Amazonian back naked in ALL the thumbnails. But (almost) NEVER in ANY of the videos?
