Save your lint anytime you use a conventional dryer, put it in a zip lock bag. Use the lint to start your kindling in a metal type box. like an ammo can so it dries out fast (the much smaller confined space is a little easier to dry out the wood, bop around with other chores until the kindling is absolutely dry, otherwise you'll never win) and obviously keep the lid cracked for ventilation, then close the box, savor the heat with more kindling in it for future use. Next, outline your stove with rock, or cinderblocks with holes (put the logs in the voids or on top of the stove)or butt some logs directly next to the rock/on top of the stone/rock so it dries out the wood every time you use the stove. I'm a little late to the game with the comment, hope it still resonates in those cold bones out here!
ps. Obviously a small space with a dehumidifier would work best, but you need a bigger battery bank and more solar panels/or a watermill/windmill: )

Jake. you should really be wearing a belt for support your back will not hold out forever with all the heavy lifting and twisting. you'll end up with a hernia too
