The Kavanaugh thing is the reason why we have statute of limitations. To encourage people to report crimes as soon as possible so that police can investigate. There is no physical evidence of any kind, just her word over his. At the 11th hour after the hearing (Kavanaugh couldn't defend himself because this was after the hearing) there is a letter that Feinstein introduced has been in her possession since July. Why wait so long to introduce the evidence? Ford didn't say anything to her family or friends, just her therapist 30 some years later and has changed her story. Both men denied that it happened. This is the exact thing that happened to Judge Clearance. The democrats have gone to great lengths to stop this nomination and have decided to do this to a Judge that was universally liked across the board. We are not going to turn this into the Salem which trials. Everyone deserves their day in court and having a day in court will show if the person is guilty or innocent. As far as the allegation itself, what can the police investigate? Not anything that the public hasn't already heard.

Close to 20 years ago i physically assaulted a girl. I hit her very hard and many times. Of course it was in grade school but since then I've become a law abiding citizen who served my country in more than one capacity. Ive also voted, pay taxes, raising two kids who are known to be respectful and mannerful; right now on social media i have less than 30 friends but within 48 hours i can get in contact with over 70 who knew me personally while in school elementary, middle and high school who can vouch for my decency as an adult and my character from childhood. However, if i were to go for any important position such as Kavanaugh's, should i be in fear my actions as a child will effect peoples votes? Brett has proven he is a respectful person as told by his colleagues and others. 1 accusations from childhood shouldn't be a factor in his job position.

The judge testifying under oath doesn't mean SHIT He is not gonna tell the truth he is gonna drag this poor womens name through the mud. She is a respected doctor and has nothing to gain by coming forward. What happened all them years ago has effected this women her whole life. She has been talking about this in therapy sessions for years. She took a lie detector test with one of the nation's best polygraph experts and passed unequivocally. Have him take it too, but he would never take it cause he doesn't want the truth to come out. Having them both testify before the committee and under oath is a joke. They have to make it look like they care but they dont he will still get the vote. Its absolutely disgusting and I'm so sick of the way this country is run.

The FBI needs to investigate Dr. Ford's allegations, not someone from Chuck Grassly's staff, which is what he's proposing. She has nothing to gain by lying. In fact, who the hell would want to go through what she's going through. Her family had to leave their house because she's getting death threats. This harrassment and character asassination is exactly why so many don't report assaults. But she realizes what's at stake. This is for one of the most powerful positions in our country and a lifetime appt. Anyone holding the office should be above reproach. It's disappointing to see much hasn't changed since Judge Thomas' hearing. It was horrible how Anita Hill was treated.

ANYONE accusing another of a crime (whether blacks in a parking lot or something like this) should be made a crime if they lie that is heavily levied. If it is blatant slander with the goal of hurting the other, the person should be punished enough to never do it again and discourage others from doing it. It could be possible, but too many holes and changes, and too little evidence to investigate, while she is NOTwilling to come in until all do what she wants. Polygraphs do not count in court- and he DID say he did not know her. And, for the record, if you put it online and 65 names takes about an hour (so, illogical for his putting that in to be a point for Ford)

The matriarchy-run DNC have completely gone bat-poo crazy. Some phony-baloney false-memory from a nutter 'Professor' about being groped by two drunk boys at a party in HIGHSCHOOL, nearly 40 years ago My guess is that she's a DNC shill - her 'Lawyer' certainly is. These people will stoop to any level to get their way. From made up Russian conspiracies to outright bringing in illegal immigrants and showing them the way to the polls (in some cities giving them the right to vote LOL. Not to mention some 'companies' paying to drive minorities to polls because meh free-poo vote DEM (luckily that racist ploy backfired.

I have a hard time believing the Kavanaugh accuser right now. The accusation told of a story that occurred almost 40 years ago, with very little actual proof, and any proof given by the woman are circumstantial. There are no real evidences here that Kavanaugh actually did anything in the 80s. Her medical files may tell of some trauma back then, but nothing points to who or what the source of the trauma is. I know liberals don't like the Court candidate, but they need to side with the candidate for the moment, because nothing is proven and the allegations are extraordinarily sketchy and flimsy. at best.

Why are you still covering the Pauls? You talk so much about how people will do anything for recognition/free press and it seems so clear that the Pauls are still doing that full force. You intentionally do not disclose names and faces of of people who do serious crimes in order to keep them from being given attention. do you not understand that you are giving the Pauls free press? Are they paying you? There are so many other things happening in the world that can be talked about.

I really don't see why people are questioning Ford's claims. She told her therapist years ago. Her coming forward with this to the public now is not that strange considering it has been known by some for months and he is about to have a LIFE-TERM seat in the highest, most prestigious court in the land. I would hope any and all horrible decisions, made by someone who is going to affect the lives of 300 millions+ for decades, are made public no matter how late.
