The bipartisan vote for impeachment was for the Republicans. That is because the country is divided right down the middle on this one. I know people feel and especially young people feel this is unfair but, the politicians representing us are all far from righteous. So to base a decision to remove someone from the office of president based on a carefully worded conversation is dangerous for our country. To support a theory supported mostly by people feelings is a tough sell to the public but fits a narrative that seems possible. There is also evidence to support that this is not case, including the word from the President of the Ukraine. Did everyone know he is a comedian. That's funny because comedians right now seem to be the best source of the truth. It is also possible that the left is trying to get him out because the economy is doing well, unemployment is up and the stock marked is up. So reelection is very real possibility. Plus it is possibly that the Obama administration did something similar there before as well. Those possibilities are drawing strong lines in the sand between those againts removal from office. Tulis is correct to abstain from this vote. Write up this AHOLE of a president and let the people deiced. She is telling us that. She is letting us know that the power is in the people. Not in the hands for the people thats think they know what is best for us and while they and their families gain great wealth and power. So all you youngins here that can vote do it and tell all your friends too as well. Be the chance you want.

We all say things when we are 14/ 15 years old. It's not pretty or good sometimes. It's a result of many factors and isn't the best judgement of who we are. The past is the past. People shouldn't have to answer for what is in their past unless they still act a certain way. I hate that we are retroactively throwing out punishments for things. At 15 years old it's not your job to punish Camilla it's her guardian's job. We don't know if she was ever punished for it but we don't know that she wasn't. She doesn't act like that now so obviously something happened to cause the change. When called out, she apologized. There's really nothing else you can expect from her. If you expect more than is reasonable, that's when you become the problem.

I cannot stand cancel culture. If people want to hold other people responsible for their words and actions, those are people who say these hurtful things TODAY, not someone who was a kid years ago. That's not helping anyone, it only hurt the cause because people stop giving a shit when real racism rears its ugly face. I personally was an adult when I learned what the n-word means, what it implied, what the history behind it was (note that I am not American. Have I used the word as an edgy teen? Hell yeah I did, because everybody was, because teens are idiots, not everyone is as fortunate to mature at this stage. I am now 27 and would never use this word, because I know better. This applied to Camilla Cabello as well.

the thing that really gets to me is how people want to push a narrative that these words are bad, when certain media personalities are using these words to make money. Older black men and women who pushed through the civil rights movement know what the word can do to people. Compared to the younger black men and women who havent experienced racism to the extent like the people before them, and use the word to others expense. Then claim that people who havent experienced the same racism shouldnt use it. But at the same time, a lot of these younger people havent experienced the same racism as well. They want to say give everyone a voice but speak over their own, or treat their own like shit when they dont agree.

Although i am very much interested in american politics, as a non american i don't understand the law and constitution. Been trying to understand the implication of this impeachment and still think i'm in a foggy area. If there is anyone that can help explain in simple way please reply. because i dont understand what it means to be impeached but not removed. Will trump be able to run for presidency again in the future? Is pence doing the presidential job as of now? In the mean time im going to rewatch this again. Thank you beforehand

Delaying a trial that they push for give the appearance that they have nothing. Under legal precedent accusations and conjecture are not facts. In a case of extortion or bribery one you would need a victim to testify that they were extorted or they were being bribed. Abuse of power is not a legal criminal statute. As far as obstruction, can anyone prove legally that the president didn't have the right to order his subordinates not to cooperate. People need to forget what they're assuming and go by what the law actually is.
