Both she and her mom are gorgeous! I wish my brows could grow as thick as hers! But can I be honest? This whole thing where moms go like, -Oh you're too young to shape your brows, shave your body hair, etc. - is really dumb and excessive, esp if as a pre-teen/teenager you have more than the average girl. It would save young girls like us the trouble of being picked on in the first place.
I always felt so ugly growing up, I wasn't blessed with the thick, shapely eyebrows that literally everyone in my family has, plus as a brown girl I did start getting a little hairy in middle school. Every time I go through old photos I see myself and just wish my mom would've taken me to a salon much earlier. I mean even now at 27 I still have this fear instilled in me to not get any of my hairs done. Yes kids will always make fun, but it doesn't mean you can't get stuff done, just to make a point about loving yourself to the bullies!
If I ever have daughters and they feel insecure about something like a unibrow, I would def let them have it removed just to make them feel more confident with their peers.

Not trying to belittle her experience through bullying, but this playlist features people in wheelchairs, someone whose skin is falling off, amputees. then there's this. bushy brows. I get that this can be an insecurity cause I've got brow issues too but mine are sparse. However, this seems rather out of place and more like an advertisement for her product than anything else.

When I was younger, I had really unruly and thick brows. Everyone would comment on them from the age of 8 until I finally took a tweezer on the night of a blackout haha. I even grew my hair out super long with side swept bangs to cover them up. I was made fun of my bushy brows, big forehead, and also being SLIGHTLY feminine. Middle school was the worst

You will literally get teased for the smallest thing in you, whether it is -normal- or not. I mean, you are only not -normal- if you are not fulfilling what majority of people want you, there's no standart for normality for God's sake. Listening to others really wreck you inside out. I miss my bushy eyebrows, it's a unique dominate feature. I'm trying to grow mine back, my eyebrows started to fall off when I was diagnosed with cancer a few years ago. I'm greatful to be in remission, but I want my eyebrows to be as bushy when I was a kid.
