WHEN doctors told him he would not walk again after a car accident at the age of 16, Nick Scott thought his dreams were over. He felt discouraged and his weight ballooned to over 300lbs. However, the now 37-year-old of San Antonio, Texas, decided to train in the bench press. After powerlifting, Nick entered his first wheelchair bodybuilding competition in 2006 and went onto become champion at the 2014 IFBB Dallas Pro Wheelchair show. Since then, Nick has helped bring wheelchair bodybuilding to a wider platform leading to the 2016 Arnold Classic Pro Wheelchair competition and the Wheelchair Olympia in 2018. Nick became a professional speaker in 2005, touring around the United States and the world, sharing his story and encouraging others. Nick told Truly: -After my car accident, I changed my life from a tragedy to triumph. - Video Credits: Videographer / director: Mario Mattei Producer: Emika Berry, Ruby Coote

Aw I feel for him. It's so hard hearing news like that from doctors. When they walk away like that it's probably because they're just so depressed and they don't know how to be strong enough to tell you. And we put down my dog, and I know this isn't the same at all, we had a vet who seemed very blase about the whole thing, but then after a little bit of talking he was saying how the veteranarians have one of the highest rates of suicide because they have to put down so many animals. It's really hard for doctors to tell people bad news like that but the doctor should have been stronger and stayed with you a minute. I am so sorry you had to go through that. If it's any condolences, you are very attractive and I hope you meet a nice person in the future and/or just enjoy life in general - good for you for making the best of a mixed hand.

When his brother walked in, I thought I was in the twilight zone. I thought it was him walking around. In all seriousness though, this is so inspirational and a
huge reminder that we are capable of reaching any goal.

I actually approve roids for disabled people. unlike other people they do have something really tough to overcompensate. Other para-sports too. why not letting them be super humans in these aspects of life.

So motivational! Keep up the amazing work. So happy you were able to turn your life around for the better. Love your motto: turn your disabilities into abilities. Keep up the great work

I don't feel sorry for him at all. He is living a wonderful life. Anyone who is that positive will attract nothing but good things in their life. What an inspiration!

The brother, Raymond is exactly looking like him. I thought he'd say that's his identical twin brother. Nick Scott can be a pretty good motivational speaker and coach.
