I hate it whenever it takes a severe accident to make somebody realize that their looks aren't what defines them as a person but it's the person they are to other people that matters. Your skin color, race, gender or the fact that you got hurt in an accident doesn't make you the person you are or the person that people see you as, it's the way you interact w/ the people in everyday life that really matters. Keep up the great work and good luck in everything you do in life. -

i jumped on my friend james fenton, he was on fire from a plastic cup of rubbing alcohol melting from the fire inside it, someone used a towel to knock it of by whipping it like a rat tail, and it splashed him. my hands burned, and i rolled him on the ground, holding on to him, he only got 2nd degree burns, everyone else stood there when he was screaming, then i just jumped on him pulling down on the ground, he is alright now, so am i, fire is dangerous, dont play with it.

That-s horrible that happened to you honey I-m so sorry but you know what God has a plan for you and everybody else and your plan was to still be survive it doesn-t matter if you-re burned or not it-s the person that you are inside and out it should not matter about skin color skin anything to do your skin you have you are a burn survivor that is totally different and I would not treat you any different I will be your friend

Girl. Im telling you it gets easier. Im a burn victim 2nd and 3rd degree burns 40%. I was 21. I m 28 now. Those scars will diminish they may not go away completely but im telling you they will skrink and flatten and whiten. It may not be overnight but you will change even still. Youre young too so youre skin has fresh cartilege in it until 25ish. If you dont believe me take a picture now and then take a picture in 5 years

And to the girl in the vid in totally understand your self esteem-put at your deepest you-ll see you are stronger than you think and you-ll develop a thick skin for those comments. You are stronger then you think because you are not what people say you are

I wonder if she resents him at all. I'm not saying she should or shouldn't. I am just curious to if she was mad at him for a long time, or if bcuz he also was a victim of what he had done, if she forgave him more easily. I bet he feels terrible for it. It's one thing to ruin your own life, it's another to ruin someone else's. I bet it was a huge relief to see her doing so well.

Interesting Enough, When I see a burned person. I am more inquisitive of what happened How they came through it. Because they wear their story on outside. I see the fighter not the scars.

No matter what. Natalie will way's be a truly hero. And the truly amazing people is that they got an amazing heart. And they accept this person. You can't know whether it will happend. Natalie is always be an amazing person a gold hearted person.

My son was at a friend's house and his parents had a bonfire, they left the kids outside by themselves at 8 years old. His friend poured in gasoline on the fire. I think God to this day my son had been taught what could happen and he ran!

When she said -gas can-, I winced. There's a reason -gasoline on the fire- means -to make a something dramatically worse-. I hope they're able to get the care they need; burned skin is not elastic or functional.

So it happened to all 3 of her friends where each one suffered severe burns, but she of course had the worse ordeal. Its ashame this accident happened, but I believe they will all be true friends for life
