HEAVILY tattooed and modified parents-of-one Victor and Jessica are proudly fighting back against the prejudice they receive online. The father, Victor, gave himself his first tattoo at just 13-years-old and has never stopped modifying himself ever since. The 45-year-old's body is 70% covered in tattoos and he has undergone seven surgical body modifications procedures including nipple removal, subdermal implants, a split tongue, tattooed eyeballs and massive nose stretchers. The couple run an Instagram page called 'The Modified Couple' where they share their day-to-day life with their 3-year-old son, rejecting criticism that their looks impact upon their parenting

The only problem is he should wear his mask upper than normal or modifying one to fit the nostrils since I imagine a sneeze droplets from him will spread not longer but maybe on a wider surface and anyway, as for everyone else, the correct way to use the masks is by covering mouth and nose, since it's from coughing and sneezing that this virus spreads, other than touching your mouth, eyes and nostrils and than shake hands with others or touching surfaces around, which cound contaminate you as an uninfected and the others as an infected individual, and facemasks can also help preventing that by making you more difficult to reach that parts of yours without thinking. Also I'm worried that a constant exposure of the nose internal mucous membrane like his will leave you without the first line of defense by pathogens that your nostrils have. I have a usual septum piercing and a pretty dilated earlobe, but I wouldn't do things like that or the eyeball tattoos for health concerns more than the social ones. thinking about it, those small mods of mine are both very old, they're from 2000. life is so short and things change so fast, when I get those only punk ravers living on the street with their dogs did that kind of things and I was immediately marked as a crazy weirdo that was destroying his body, today nobody cares and you can see those things other than large tattoos on celebrities and pop icons, nurses in hospitals, and tons of people there wasn't once a chance you'd see on them. I remember some futuristic comics predicting this and I thought they were right but seeing it happening now it's still feels a bit alienating to me and I also I feel a bit stripped of my -youthful originality-, they're like a relic from the past. Don't want to sound like an old ridiculous gatekeeper though, because I think it's actually a good thing and also a sign people like this couple are still experimenting and pushing further the line of what's acceptable on appearance without being targeted by prejudice for everyone.

I don-t think I would look at them and think bad parents, but I would think he is dark so to speak and not happy, it-s almost like you are trying to be something totally opposite of yourself, or distract people from truly seeing you, everyone judges by looks, and this look is associated more with a rebel, going against the norm, not necessarily a bad thing, but how far is he willing to go, tattoos cost, if this dude ever needs gets in a car accident and needs a MRI the nurse has a job to get those things out
reply

It-s sad when people judge people who are all tattooed and modified, out with the children as bad parents. What about the people not taking their children out, exploring the world, gaining new experiences.
Oh I guess because they-re hidden behind closed doors being sheltered. You can-t judge what you can-t see but it-s something to think about when you start going down that road of judgement.

How you want to look is your choice, but it is clear you are loving parents to your son. He is gorgeous! you must be so proud. And I agree with you - you are the normal ones! trying to let people see your souls and not judge and discriminate what's on the outside, which anyway, is your artform. So people need to get that - keep being a beautiful family and doing what you do and educating.

I mean choices were made. This is their bodies their choice. I can not wait till their kid is like i want tattoos. The body mods i do not know be scared of getting the caught on something or knocking the ones on the wrist or hell getting into a fight. I like the fact that her man thinks he can tell her she can not get her eyes tattooed or only one yet he has both of his done.

To me all of these radically modified and tatted people end up looking kinda the same since they all have similar procedures done. Kinda defeats the purpose of trying to look different and outrageous when you just end up being a carbon copy of every other person who wanted to be outrageous. Just another cult fashion trend really isn't it?
reply

You're right, it doesn't make you bad, BUT why would you want to have to spend you're life explaining why tattooing doesn't make you bad. Why not use something a little permanent. You ruined your skin in my opinion, not to mentioned you're marked for life. Tattooing damages skin. Why? I'm not a big fan of tattooing, obviously.
reply

It's scary to say the least. Not something I'll support or. encourage someone to do. But okay they do look a lil -cool-. But the amount of modifications worry me that's all.
Lil guy is cute and it's heartwarming he finds their tattoos Beautiful!

Feel a bit bad for their child. Their child could be bullied or insulted at school by his peers for having weird looking parents. No matter how their personalities are, since for kids or even for most people, outer look matters more firstly.
reply

I hate the nose thing but who cares? They seem sweet and genuine, I am sure that they are great parents - not everyone likes rigid suit wearing lemmings who will follow blindly what is regarded as -normal- in society ---
reply

Where did they get the money for this? Even if they got it working as a tattooist what happens if you have to close or switch jobs? I guess better do what you want and not worry about the future is not a bright idea.
reply

Very interesting! It's true everyone is entitled to live their lives the way they want, even if it's not the way of the majority! They seem like nice people! And their kid seems to be just fine as well! ---

He says -there's still this thing about accepting him the way he is-. I wonder if he means HE has a problem accepting himself the way he is. That's what this IS. isn't it? He can't accept himself as he is?
reply

It teaches your child that you don't love who you are and you disgrace yourself by displaying your torture permanently all over your body. It also doesn't teach your child how to function well in society.

The only moment you can be thankful for corona virus at least with the mask on he will not freak everyone out, seriously he looks horrible just looking at his eyes is more than enough.

I'd look at the dad and think he looks weird but I wouldn't think he was some evil monster. He definitely is a good father and loves his child and that's all that matters.
reply

Because of religious reasons i don't like this at all. They can do whatever they want to themselves, it's their life but i just think it's ugly. That's my opinion.
reply

The guy on the street who said, -I don't accept it-. No one cares if you do or not, it's their life, not yours. You don't like tats and bod mods, don't get them!
reply

I don't see why it's important for people to express negative views, it's not going to change anything and just makes the world a worse place to live in.
reply

How ironic, a man who resembles a monster is actually a kind loving person, then we have men who appear kind and loving that are actual monsters.
reply

They seem like good parents and sweet people!
My concern lies in the father getting an infection because his nostrils are so exposed: /

reply

I'm totally don't like the nose mode, but who's care about that. who am i. ah man, you just ruin, spoil, n harm your own body ( nose part )
reply

The look like a happy loving family. The only thing I-m not feeling is the stretched out nostrils. Other than that, they both look awesome.
reply

Your face is stunning queen! -You're beautiful naturally. Bless your beautiful family and may God always guide and protect you all.
reply

There are many more who look good and abuse or abandon their kids behind closed doors get over it. They dont need anyone-s approval
reply

The people you lost weren-t your friends mama. Continue choosing you in e dry moment and not be led by others opinions of you
reply

They are not bad parents but with those modification to their body it's just gonna give a bad influence to their child
reply

We not here to judge only God judge, but i will be honest and say its not for me but if you happy what can we do or say
reply

They seem like great parents. Body modification doesn't change character and anyone who thinks otherwise is full of it
