I hate to make a generalization, but cheer can give young people such a positive attitude. I was in gymnastics until I knew that I had gone as far as I could. Then, I switched to cheer. I went from so anxious and introverted to beaming and bouncy. I don't know what it is, but it gives you a layer of strength. I have both Ehlers Danlos Syndrome and Complex Regional Pain Syndrome and I recovered from injuries so quickly.
Put your kids in cheer; they'll be okay.

MY DEAR GOD--What a HORRIBLE thing to happen the look of that Car she is so LUCKY to be alive--This Young Lady is SPECIAL and I Admire her taking BACK her LIFE-. I can only HOPE 2 thing-s First who did this is in prison and the second thing is I hope she and her family sued this person-She will NEED CARE and this DRUNK DRIVER should have to take care of her for the rest of her life--

Drunk drivers should be charged with murder, as they deliberately chose to get behind the wheel of a vehicle whilst incapacitated. They should also have to pay for all the adaptations their victim needs to live a normal life including the cost of wheelchairs, prosthetics etc.

This girl is incredible! I was diagnosed with an invisible disability/autoimmune disease and I felt depressed, overwhelmed and felt that I couldn-t handle it. And now watching this girl handling something far more life changing is inspiring!

She was very strong and it-s amazing how she handled it, she didn-t give up and she gave everything she could to get through this. She is a amazing inspiring girl and I hope she lives her entire life happily and healthy.

im happy that she's found ways to do the things she loves to do! it's so sad that she lost her legs but at least she can still live and she can do what she wants to do, she just have to find new ways of doing it
