A MAN who weighed 405lbs has lost half his body weight in three years, transforming himself from obese to beast - and even taking part in a bodybuilding competition. In 2018, Levi, from Rhode Island, went to hospital after experiencing intense chest pains - and doctors told him that the next one would be a massive heart attack. He decided to change his lifestyle for good so he could be there to see his grandson grow up. Committing himself to a cleaner diet and consistent exercise, Levi lost 230lbs - and shocked his wife by competing on stage in a bodybuilding competition. Levi is now a fitness coach and says: -I want to be the best me I can be, the best version of myself, mentally, physically and emotionally. I-m stronger than I-ve ever been, I look better than I ever have, and I know it - and own it

-You gotta hit rock bottom before you see a change. - That cuts deep right there. Soooo relatable. I have struggled with my weight most of my life. I am diabetic type 2 and for years I kept saying I would take care of myself and I never did. I finally got the lowest I ever could. There was nowhere to go but up from where I was looking. It was like a lightbulb went off in my head. I have lost 30 lbs in about 2 months now and am very happy and there is no stopping me now. Congratulations on your journey very happy to see who you have become and it is people like yourself and videos like these that inspire me to keep on going! Thanks for sharing.

Congrats! I feel like we went down the same road. I'm 47 abd I didn't get into fitness and a healthy eating until 4 years ago when my doctor told me I had high blood pressure, low testosterone, a bad thyroid, borderline diabetic (but not diagnosed, and ulcers. I wasn't big but I was so out of shape. At that time I weighed my heaviest at 217 at 5'6 in height. I took what my doctor told me seriously. I changed the way I ate, went to the gym. Now I'm 155lbs and in the best shape I've ever been. Fitness has become a big part of my life, but kudos to you for making those necessary changes in your life.

I have started my journey as well, Three weeks ago i clocked in at 125kg, size 44-46 jean, with a resting heart rate of 100bpm. What pushed me was my Doctor going: -So, have your wife picked out your headstone already? -
Now weighing 118kg, resting heart rate at 85 and I am not going to stop until I fit into a size 38 again or looking good in a tank top. The weight loss is slowing, but the BMI is falling and that is what's keeping me going.
Can't wait for the day I don't have to hold my breath to tie my shoes, or have to sit on the sidelines at roller coasters because the harness doesn't fit.

Love the work ethic but if you're in the gym an hour and a half a day, you're either over training or BSing in the gym and taking too much time between workouts/sets. A great workout takes 45-55 minutes tops with stretching and warm up included. Unless that gym is packed to the gills, what are you doing?

I'd find rather interesting if you posted what his dayli food intake was like, and what gym regime he took, I mean his workout routine, meal plans, supplements - that would actually be helpful for people who want to lose fat and put on considerable amount of muscle.

I have ways to go and even if I lost weight, I will still build muscle regardless how much it hurts, how hard it gets and how tough it gets. I will forever stay away from fast food and continue good healthy lowfat food.

I'm 260 lbs now and my goal is to get 190-200 pounds, I'm 6'1 tall as well so I'm guessing it will be a good weight goal for me too.
Love the positivity and dedication -

The eggs are good just not in bacon grease and bread is okay as long as it-s anabolic. Anabolic French toast is chefs kiss.

I do not know if being bigger is a good idea. You can be big with fat and muscle but they both lead to heart issues.
