A MAN from Indonesia is hoping to get medical treatment for a mystery condition which caused his foot to grow to an enormous and painful size. Agus Sofian, 32, struggles to walk with his enlarged foot, which now weighs around 10kg. When he was a teenager, Agus sought out help in a local hospital but doctors were unable to help with the growing foot. Agus told Truly: -At the time, the doctor said it was a benign tumour. When I was 15, it was probably half the size it is today. It just keeps getting bigger and bigger-. Agus lives with his wife Octavia and their daughter, but is worried he won-t be able to provide for them if he-s unable to work due to his foot. Agus does have the support of Octovia though, who told Truly: -I-m so grateful to have a man like him, even though his situation is difficult, he always finds a way to provide for us. - Agus is still holding out some hope he-ll be able to get treatment for his foot, and wants to fundraise for the medical help he can-t afford, but desperately needs

Unfortunately for him no doctor in Indonesia is able to treat Agus because the lack of medical technology that is provided at this time. I'm still expecting foreign treatment that could help him with at least minimize his pain. Which is illegal to carry heavy doze of medicine if the patient is not experiencing post-surgical situation or being treated in hospital right there and then.

I wish I was wealthy. All it would take to take this man-s difficulties away would be a donation so he could go overseas and get that foot operated on. It wouldn-t even matter if it was removed - he would feel better and be freed so he could work. I hope and pray he can have this opportunity one-day.

looks like another case of macrodactyly, which unfortunately is difficult to treat. Even the surgeries aren't 100% corrective. not sure if amputation would be the best option at this point, esp if its still growing, or if that would just cause growth somewhere else.

His entire right side of the body has developed major muscle due to the weight! If I was a surgeon in such a field I would be more than happy to be ghost in making his life easier even if just for his daughters sake.

He needs an amputation. Then he can get a prosthetic of some kind and get back to his normal life. People are cruel. And it gets worse every day. I hope Someone reaches out to him and can help him pro Bono.

I hope doctors will see this and help him. I feel for people like this especially when it's hard for them to get the care that they need to possibly help. Pray and hope he gets the help he needs!

It would dramatically improve his life if he could get his foot amputated. He could have a prosthetic that would be much easier to walk on. I really hope someone sees this who can help him.

I think I might of just got my foot amputated. Wish people didn't have to suffer with a disabilities like this especially the ones with tumors that consume their faces.

Respect! I really hope this video goes viral and has millions of views so that some good doctor could see it and help this man. Where can we donate money?
reply

All country's should have a free public health system funded by taxes like we have in Australia. This guy deserves treatment, it shouldn't be a matter of money
reply

it sad that some people have to endure this and you catch yourself complaining about things less difficult. Bless him and everyone born different -

Looks like macrodystrophia lipomatosa. Usually the enlarged toes would be amputated and the foot debulked as much as possible. Then a custom shoe made.

I hope by the end of this I see a go fund me or something saying a doctor took this case on at no charge as he deserves such a blessing

I-d really like an update on this man and his family. I really pray Dr. s around the world see this and offer him help.
reply

I can't imagine someone actually laughing at his condition. It looks so painful; I am sure it is. His family is beautiful.
reply

It's not about the looks it's about the personality and I wouldn't change the way he looks even if I wanted to
reply

Disliked your vid you should be putting a go fund me link or helping these people instead of using them for views
reply

Not being insensitive or anything but if he were to pursue a rap career he should go by the name bigfoot
reply

Can they just amputate the leg? Idk that's what I would assume but I aint no medical professional so-
reply

We sell treatment and health. Poor people can-t afford it so we let them suffer or die. Human is cruel.
