A PLUS-SIZE model and influencer has found dating extremely difficult due to her chronic conditions. Cambria Francesca, from Los Angeles, has multiple conditions including Lupus, Fibromyalgia and idiopathic intracranial hypertension (IIH. The 30-year-old disability awareness advocate says that constant hospital trips and seizures make dating more challenging and, according to her, some men just simply aren-t cut out for it. Cambria is looking for someone mentally strong and emotionally stable enough to cope with the ups and downs of dating someone with a chronic disease. Today she is going on a blind date with Justin - a 20-year-old social media marketer. But will Cambria meet the man of her dreams?

I had early stages of cervical cancer two years ago and am cancer free now however, I have a low Thyroid and am dealing with that as well as low potassium. It's hard explaining to men that you have good days and bad days health wise. My last relationship two years ago my Ex boyfriend cheated on me. I want to date but prefer to be alone because men don't understand how hard it is health wise sometimes and instead of explaining it its easier to not have to.
Does it get lonely yes, but I am happy and confident and content with in myself to not settle just to have a boyfriend.

Man I could barely get watch this. My very first doc I worked with had a ton of fibromyalgia patients. I knew immediately when someone had it when they walked in. I could see the pain immediately. I knew immediately she would have fibro. She-s amazing. People absolutely don-t understand what they can-t see. Having an autoimmune disorder is the absolute worst I know personally but she-s a positive peach and a badass. I hope one day people will have understanding somehow of having a non physical disability.

This crazy how people are talking about his age but you got to understand women nowadays looking for a certain type of man the men typically her age are either already married or if they're not married they're not looking looking for nothing serious or they are looking for something serious they don't have the qualifications that most women nowadays want this is the best chance she got lol

I found it even harder after being know as disable. I was sick in my 20's but I mean I worked but when I had to retired or need help cause I was getting sick than people know. I am happy to see your a model. People like how you was a songwriter if your disable. Why can't I be?

I honestly love the fact that she aged him and still wanted a serious relationship.
Down here in Africa, women who are aged goes out with boys like that only for fun.
I honestly love America. I love the west. Their liberalism is mind blowing.

I have Lupus I'm in pain every day and pain medication doesn't work. I don't let it get the best of me I push myself everyday to get up.
I'll work full-time in Nursing school. It's really hard because like she said people don't understand Lupus.

I have a friend that has lupus and she's found notes on her car from people basically stating she doesn't deserve a handicapped parking spot, & she's abusing the system. Its sad because these people don't experience the pain that drags her down

At first I thought, this dude seems uptight, but later when they asked him about her, he just had some great answers! I love being surprised about people, cause you can never actually know, what they're thinking unless you ask: )

Medically she will always have a up hill battle with her health but her choice of -profession- as a plus size model, and an influencer is a red flag that she isn't willing to make the sacrifices needed to improve her health.
reply

What a waste of time an amazing human being when you set them up with someone that's not even compatible with her? Clearly they're not on the same page so why set the up? Not gonna lie kinda over this when it comes to this
reply

Omg her and I have all the same health issues and I'm 31 myself! I was so excited to see someone just like me on here. Dating can really suck when being disabled so I'm happy to see it being brought to light

If you ever read this, I was diagnosed with Fibromyalgia by 2 doctors. Said the worst case they had seen. I quit drinking regular milk and drink lactose free. All my body pains went away. I-m 65 and pain free!

She seems like a really sweet, genuine, strong woman - I hope her journey is blessed & that she finds a good man that will walk any path with her- Be kind. most of us are fighting demons & battles inside
reply

Awe sorry about your illness put your trust in God and he can heal anything! The Lord has been good to you! you don't look like what you been through and you look very youthful keep your head up -
reply

You are beautiful. My rheumatologist diagnosed me with Fibromyalgia just this past May, and I've just started on Lyrica. This is in addition to other issues I deal with. I admire her strength!
reply

I didn't see much chemistry. But I couldn't tell if he was serious as her. She is perfect. But I'd love to see more of her yet a better match. It's not him but he isn't as exciting as her.
reply

Really tragic but not taking care of her body isn't helping either especially with fibromyalgia. She needs to follow healthy diet & exercise plan in order to combat the chronic pain!
reply

I have fibromyalgia chronic fatigue and it can be super debilitating. I have lessened my symptoms with strict diet and exercise. But it is constant still but manageable
reply

Yea people don-t understand ur illness or ur Sikness I also have something very rare I have 2 different symdroms ans I also look for real love but is so hard to find
reply

He is -ONLY- 20.
Not gonna work.
She needs a mature men not a boy who is just entering the dating scene. I hope he will not use her. She doesn't need more pain

reply

Plus size model? Hmm no, sorry. Also, 30? Also, hmm no. But wish ya the best girl. maybe someone your age group? Btw, she wants him bad. but he seems young and confused.
reply

Seriously I love her she-s so pretty and has such a good energy should have set her up with someone around her age or older and be more into something serious
reply

Poor young woman, Lupus by itself can be a prison sentence let alone the other medical issues. Hope she finds a deserving man.
He's really lovely too.

reply

I hate to be captain obvious but the fact that he never comes close to smiling and seems to only want to talk about himself are both pretty big red flags.
reply

'USED' women cannot be committed to by most normal men. Society would have to bring back TRADITIONAL women in order to get committment from most men.
reply

I-m not sure about this guy-- he SEEMS- a bit uptight and a narcissistic type of-. I won-t even keep him as a friend to be honest. Sorry. Not, sorry! --
reply

They should have hooked her up with someone 10 years older then her. Which will probably be more understanding of her disability also!
reply

As a 22 yr old, men my age are definitely not even close to done growing up. 20 is a CHILD when it comes to males -- idk why they did that.
reply

is he nervous? shy? stand-offish? orrrr just hella uninterested?
zero chemistry. zero! LOL but maybe they'll be good homies.

reply
