NOFAR, who-s 22 and grew up in Israel, transitioned at 15 and started taking hormone replacement therapy at 17. As a trans woman in Israel she-s faced plenty of barriers. Her father didn-t accept her as trans growing up which made it harder for her to get permission to medically transition. She says she had to stand in front of a judge and beg them to let her begin taking hormones, fortunately the judge said yes and the hormones have changed her life. During the earlier stages of Nofar-s transition, strangers would yell at her on the street but that doesn-t happen anymore and she believes that it-s thanks to taking hormones that people have stopped harassing her as now no one can tell that she was born presenting as male. Today Nofar is going to walk down a street that she used to be afraid of and enjoy her new freedom as a trans woman

If you were born a man and believe you were meant to be a woman that-s just the struggle you have to come to terms with that God gave you. There-s a lot of physical attributes I was born with but I have to deal with them because we weren-t all born perfect. You were born with a man body regardless of how you feel about it you can never change that fact. There-s no point in fighting reality.

So glad she had the support of her mom and sister. It's rough enough that society doesn't agree or understand a person can be of the wrong gender. When your family members don't support or accept who you really are, it gets difficult. Nofar will be a woman who will make an impact on her community. I'm glad that I am an ally.

I feel sympathy for those with dysphoria and support hrt for those with extreme cases of it. However, being uncomfortable with being a male doesn't make you a woman. There has to be a balance between managing your disorder and acknowledging reality. Looking like a woman and actually being a woman are two different things.

Women don-t have penises. And if you swear they can, then womanhood is undefinable and meaningless. If wearing a dress makes you feel better about yourself, go ahead. But the dress, wig, makeup, implants, hormones, and chopped up eggplant don-t make you anything other than just another guy. Deal with it.

She is very fortunate to have a loving mother and sister who accept her. Perhaps one day her father will learn to support her, regardless. I love her message to others, to put yourself first and don-t worry about society too much. That-s easier said than done, but you have to in order to truly be yourself

Your a dude. You and the majority need to get a sense of facts and reality. People that even respect you or like you at the back of their mind they will always know you for who you were born as before surgery. Parents especially.

I think it's okay for anyone who is uncomfortable with their gender of birth to want to transgender, but I don't find this idea of --using gender stereotypes to call themselves transgender acceptable. This only reinforces gender roles.

-True beauty comes within-
Trans people have such a backwards way of thinking. How can you live by this philosophy when no other group of people is more superficial. No other group is more obsessed with their outer appearance

I can't co-sign on this one, he will run into the wrong person on day and end up hurt or worse! Some men may look twice and think he's a girl with strong features next thing you know he will end up in very bad situation!

-Always the same, always saying jn childhood they like to play with dolls, dresses. You could love all that and it doesn't mean you have to be a woman. Being a woman is more than make up, dolls and dresses- -------

Many transgender people were really born in the wrong body like literally. She even looked rather feminine before transitioning, like she was supposed to be a woman

She looks absolutely amazing! Her hard work truly paid off and she has a truly awesome mom. Reminds me of how my mom acts about me being trans: ) always supportive

I am glad she actually didn't go too far with her surgeries and actually understand the meaning of being woman.
