FROM living in refugee camps to building her million-dollar beauty empire, Fatema Love's journey to success was not an easy one. As a Palestinian refugee who later grew up in the Bronx, Fatema had to raise herself at the young age of 15 and quickly learned the value of hard work. Fatema says: I came from nothing. I was homeless, I was hungry and I was in a refugee camp in a war. I never thought, in a million years, that I would be here today. In 2019, she started the business in her small apartment in New York. Over the next three years, the company, AFL beauty bar, has exploded into one of the biggest medical spas in the country. Fatema now has nine branches across the US and plans to expand further to every state. Her clients include influencers, models, celebrity makeup artists and even some of the A-listers such as Cardi B

Big ups to her for making it out of poverty, I'm just not a fan of the business she runs. Exploiting and capitalising off insecure women by providing them with unnecessary -quick fixes-. I remember her from when you guys interviewed Nicole Zavala, she's the same aesthetician that worked on her in her episode. Say this, once natural beauty becomes the trend (if it ever will, how will this affect not only her self esteem but her businesses? These non-invasive cosmetic procedures are still new and if science and research show the potential negative effects they have on our bodies in the long term, what will happen then?

This girl looks like a man, also been to her -beauty bar- this is all fake. She treats people like crap and ruins there faces. Plus she went to jail for injecting without a license look her up. She is a complete fraud. She doesn-t pay employees. She started in the strip clubs doin everything and anything to - make it-
It sickens me to see her on here is spreading nothing but lies to make it seem like she was in a refugee camp. Barfffff - also the entire time she was pregnant she injected herself. She is a careless woman. Woo- MAN.

I love watching Bling Life stories like this because it motivates me so much every day. I'm working on creating a digital design studio right now. It's sad when you work your way up from nothing and become a multimillionaire the right way, people start to hate and throw around that phrase, - you just got lucky. - Success is about making the right choices, determination, perseverance and having zero excuses on why you can't do something.

I am very happy for her. To be able to work past her now past life experiences, and enjoy how far she has come is an incredibly difficult thing to do. I find it funny how American immigrants always prove that the American dream is still very much alive and well. An immaculate example of a successful small business owner: despite familial issues and governmental overreach during 2020. Congratulations, Fatema!

So sad that materialistic stuff makes her happy. Try suddenly losing your only son, kinda gives you an appreciation for the things that truly matter in life.
Beautiful sunsets
The feel of the water as I glide through it
Friends that are there for me n make me laugh again
High heels? No thanks, barefoot as much as possible to stay connected
Sending everyone love and sparkles -

Gotta give her sympathy. The insidious nature of capitalism and consumerism is a potent snake oil elixir for personal traumas. Just one in a number of walls people build up around themselves that prevents them from healing the innocent and vulnerable inner child that was once hurt so badly, our true selves. Be kind to everyone, we are still children at heart.

You know what.
You are gorgeous.
You are the American Dream.
I personally think it's amazing that you've done this for yourself. For your family. i hope you give someone else a hand up. not charity. just being a mentor to some young girl like you. I just think you're amazing. Truly amazing

Ok you are a successfull woman now, congrats. But you didn't told us how you managed to reach this high. What opportunities you had? Did somebody helped you? Did you collected monet from your job? How this worked? This is the only way to inspire people. To advice them. Not just showing.

No see she opened shop in cities where people are willing to. spend money, if she open up shop in a city where everyone is broke or not willing to spend them she'd be like the rest of the mom n pops business barely getting by. More props to her may she keeps catching her blessings.

When you grow up as a refugee, struggling life on your own but make it big one day, you have only yourself and your loved ones to thank for. She knows whom to give back.
It's human nature to berate someone successful out of sheer jealousy.

She has clearly made it and has a great work ethic and i'm happy for her. But i do wonder if it sometimes keeps her(Palestinian) up at night that the tax money she pays to the government partly and indirectly goes to the Israelian lobby.

I cringed through this whole thing. Superficial content, yours Truly (pun intended. Truly Team: there was no legitimate explanation on how she -actually built- from the bottom up. Let-s just start there--.

Why do they love wasting their wealth on material things. How much value do those have. You can-t impact the life of material things but can surely impact the life of people and that-s more valuable and precious.
reply

You were a refugee wit nothing. Now, you are a rich -princess-. Can you not be something in the middle? Knowing poverty can you not aspire to help those who need some help to get out of it? I feel sorry for you.

She knows that cardi is not an A lister right Ariana grande is and Justin Bieber is and Rihanna is but like cardi b is just a big celebrity she is like a B list celebrity -

lol it-s kind of crazy that she LOVES to brag about her money through materialistic items but if she came from nothing, shouldn-t she help others that are in her old shoes?
reply

-Palestinians don't have food, medicine or clean water yet she just keep spending like that. I don't like her, not a single bit. Plus all seems sketchy- -------
reply

I was also a refugee but I'm nowhere near as rich as this lol. But to be fair she seems a lot more business savvy and extroverted than I am, so good for her.
reply

I think Truly should build these stories better. I'm sure the angle is to make her seem all about her money. Disappointing -truly -trulyshow

Love seeing a fellow immigrant make it! Gives me inspiration! Im successful but no where near where is but im gonna keep pushing!
reply

Ok now show me how many people you've helped along the way. How many good deeds and pay it forwards you've got. THAT'S the REAL flex.

When you say I have to be my own daddy, you're saying something is lacking with your daddy, and that's ok if that's the truth of it.
reply

For the record, struggling to make ends meet doesn-t mean you-re not working hard. People out her with 3 businesses, and 2 day jobs --
reply

I-m just wondering which piece she-s going to take with her when her times comes maybe there-s a Chanel store on the other side too.
reply

I own a med spa and she-s such an inspiration. Stop hating. Be happy for her. People that are hating will never progress.
reply

1: 12 shouldn't you shower naked lol.
I love this because I can shower naked umm everyone has to shower naked lol

reply

This could have been great but all she spoke about was her bags, shoes, closets and how much they are valued at.
reply

I'm just glad that a Palestinian girl is happy and successful, life is so hard on them -pray for all them out there
reply

-I love you more- you could tell that was fake and full of tension, with the quick move on and the side eye -
reply

This is gross. How can she live like this after knowing how others live in the world? There-s literally no excuse.
