I Applaud you. I was struck by a truck as a pedestrian and my left arm was essentially severed and hung on by skin. Brachial artery was severed, elbow was destroyed, and all the nerves were severed between my bicep to forearm. This all happened when I was 29. I'm 43 now and I still have no function in my left arm or hand. I've been feeling sorry and pissed off for myself since the day it happened. The nerve pain constantly reminds me of the injury along with it being 3 inches shorter than the right. Now, I feel embarrassed for myself after seeing what you went through and what a great outlook and attitude you have. I wish you all the blessings you deserve for putting a positive spin on a bad situation.

So happy you were able to draw positive and uplifting people to help keep you on this upward mentality. Once the swelling subsidies more if you want to help with the scars appearance and texture a combo of Lazer treatments, red light therapy and even using breast milk(if you ever choose that you both want to have kids) all have astonishing healing and reconstructive properties. I've used a lot of this when my arm was rebuilt after I almost lost it under an ice sheet. I wish you, your family, your partner and your puppy nothing but joy and laughter for the rest of your life. - All the best

You can tell why his beautiful girlfriend is attracted to him. He embodies genunine male confidence and independence and doesn't wallow in self pity like a lot of people would in his situation. These strenghths are more important in a man than having a classically attractive face in my opinion. Even with the swelling, the doctor's did an amazing job and he still has great hair. He's winning at life I'd say.

Wow so from the photos of him and her together you can see that he usually doesn't look this way. He's extremely swollen right now. Wish they would of showed more close up pictures when he wasn't like this to see. Hope it goes down soon
