honestly, it's ridiculous that this is happening. for multiple reasons. i mean, if she didn't want any kind of attention or comments she should have kept this situation completely to herself. but someone else in the comments pointed out that the fact that she is waxing her 3 yr old's eyebrows proves that she's teaching her kid that she needs to care about what society views as beautiful and that it's going to affect her more in the long run. it also shows that the mother is someone who believes in what society is telling people what's beautiful and what's not. which is okay. but forcing those same standards on a three year old that most likely doesn't even know what that is yet and therefore isn't able to make a decision on what she wants or doesn't want to do to her body according to that isn't okay.

Do what you want but don' t load it up to the internet, there you have to count with opinions and criticize. People shredd their mouth about everything because their own problems are too big. But you know what? It' s your own opinion, you learn her that shes not perfekt or right the way she' s born. And this one I can tell you, has effects for her whole life! My mother made me hightlight with just 7 years and I didn' t say no. But I had to learn later that it' s just not true what she finds perfect is her opinion. It's a whole other thing if the girl would ask by herself. But please, where do we get if we tell them in this young age that they have to be perfect or normal? That's seriously a big problem and it's really so time to change that and enjoy differences and nature please!

No, to each their own but I can say from personal experience that having my mom suggest I get mine waxed without me having asked her was a weird feeling, like your mom is the one person who-s supposed to always think you-re beautiful. And then in between waxes when it grew out I felt so self conscious. Later when I was waaay older I got bullied for something else and even though it was more embarrassing, it didn-t feel nearly as bad because they were random people. Tbh it really sucked having my mom suggest it. I would rather have had her waited until I came to her to ask to get it done. And I was eight when she did it. Three is way too young but that-s just my opinion. Also putting it online may make other little girls insecure. But yeah just imo

I don't condone violence, but what your doing to your daughter is inappropriate and your setting up your daughter for all kinds of issues in adulthood. Please treat your daughter as the little girl that she is and don't project your own stuff on her or presume that grooming her us going to stop bullies. Find some other way to enhance your child's self esteem and image. Beauty is from within not from outside yourself no matter the amount of grooming. Focus on your child's self esteem by focusing & developing her beauty from within, and this will shine out for everyone to see.

Your child seems okay with it and yes brushing hair hurts a lot omg- I understand that having a unibrow isn-t common. It shouldn-t be seen as ugly or weird if it-s naturally brown and I think that-s why people don-t like it. When she-s older and if she says I don-t wanna do it anymore then stop. I suppose it-s similar to shaving other body hair but it-s just a bit shocking since she-s young. People shouldn-t harass you like that it-s disgusting and you should report them. Maybe keep this to yourself if not everyone agrees with it. It will protect her and you as a parent.

Okay I get if this child was being bullied that this could be a solution but I think you started to young you didn-t wait until she was old enough to decide. Then you taught her to think that-s how she-s pretty because you get rid of her hair so she doesn-t get to see different forms of beauty. And fine you can do the whole waxing thing with your kid if she wants to but your sharing this to the public so if someone finds this video and knows her personally they can now bully her about this so that just ruins your goal of keeping her safe your sharing her to the world.

You shouldn't get death threats or such hateful comments for sure, but I'm not sure I agree with this either. 3 is very early to start out with something like this. I'm not sure a 3 year old even notices things like the hair on their own or others faces, but you are teaching her to notice it for sure. Idk, it's not my child so it's not my business. In the end, I don't think it's really hurting anything so if you think it's needed then so be it. It's not something to be shamed over.

If her daughter is perfect in her eyes and she tells her daughter that every day, then why is she waxing her eyebrows? Seems a bit contradicting. Furthermore, why even post waxing her daughters eyebrows on social media. what did she think she was going to gain from doing this? If anything she exposed her daughter to even more bullying by showing the entire world what she does to remove her daughters unibrow. Her mom greatly lacks any common sense on this matter.

If a kid asks, you shouldn-t deny them that but only after they-ve been explained the concept of beauty standards and that they are beautiful and/or handsome. She is so young so she cannot not comprehend why her mother would do this to her or why it needs to be done at all. This is not about her kid whatsoever. it-s about her being embarrassed of her kid not looking perfect. Horrible

I've seen many people do this. I mean 3yo is too young but yeah people start having their child's uper lips or arms get waxed at age of 5. they just don't go around and tell everyone! When i first got my uper lips done the girl (who did it) told me that getting waxing done at young age leaves you with thinner and weaker hair when you're old
I don't believe this but many people do

first of all, death threats! that-s just insane. secondly, I personally don-t think waxing is necessary but talking to the child and asking for their opinion is important. when my daughter wants to get her ears pierced, that-s okay. but her choice. same with waxing. does she like her eyebrows naturally? completely fine. and if not, there will also be a solution

If you live your life on social media then expect to get trolled. You do NOT need to show the world what goes on in your life. !
If you DO then I have no sympathy. Although I don-t disagree with what the mother is doing. I do disagree with her sharing it on social media. What on earth did she expect?

Definitely don-t need to be throwing death threats but I-m not entirely sure why you think you need to wax your little child-s eyebrows. she didn-t ask you to do it originally -- you started doing it for your OWN childhood trauma- let her decide when she-s older. It does not make her any less beautiful.

People should mind their own business! Those comments are absolutely disgusting, shame on them! That-s her child, she does that because she doesn-t want her kid being bullied by others because of her unibrow! WTH is wrong with the people! Stay strong, you are a wonderful mother -

Hey as someone with fair eye brows. I got picked on for not having eye brows.
So hearing this just reminds me no matter what u look like or do someone will have a problem
What should really matter is that they keep their daughter safe, feed and loved.

When I saw the video addressing this before, I was with the people who are against this. That was until I heard the stories from women who were bullied horribly when they were younger. Now, I fully support this. The haters just need to mind their own business.

I don-t really see the problem. It-s just grooming. Of course the little girl is beautiful with or without the Unibrow, but not everyone will agree with that and I believe her mother is trying to save her from those people, not teach her she-s ugly.

I totally understand now they did this to protect her from bullying, some of the comments they recieved are horrifying and I am so sorry they have to deal with this. I respect them for standing up together as a couple and protecting their child.

Why would you feel the need to wax your 3 year olds eyebrows? I have a 3 year old daughter and girl has a legit unibrow but, she is 3 she doesn't seem bothered and I'm not a psychopath so I'm going to leave it until she tells me otherwise.

The kid is going to grow up and want to wax them anyway, The mom is just teaching her to bare the small pain at an early age. I didn-t grow up with my mom, so I appreciate seeing a mother put so much care into her daughter-s appearance.

Why in the world would you wax a child? Do we really need to put more stress on younger and younger girls to have an unnatural beauty standard? Can we not see the billion dollar industries that push unrealistic expectations on people?

If you want to wax it also good for you.
What is the issue?

Maybe stop exploiting your daughter for views? Maybe wait until she can consent to being on your vlogs? I think parents who pierce babies ears or circumcise babies are worse than what shes doing but maybe keep it private?

How can she compare, getting a hair -cut-. To pulling hair out from its roots? Oh she thinks her daughter will go through what she did. Yea if she lets it happen. If she does not, she would not go through the same.

Waxing a unibrow is fine. I had a bushy caterpillar and I wish mine was waxed. As long as she doesn't touch the rest of the eyebrow, I don't see anything wrong with it. One long eyebrow can be funny looking lmao.

When you put your life out there, ppl are going to have an opinion. Even if you think your right, expect ppl to be haters. If your sensitive to opinions, don-t present it to social media.
