Whats the difference between situation, position and condition? That's what Giti from Iran would like to know, and Dan has the answer! Nawar: Hi Dan.' under these conditions' is similar to ' under these circumstances' isn't it?
'In this situation' is similar to 'in this case'.
'My position on global warming' is similar to' my view point or my perspective'.
So we can use these words, I mentioned, interchangeably in some specific situations can't we?
In English there are tons of words not having or having the same meaning that we can use them interchangeably.

A friend of mine told me that he got fired from his previous job, meanwhile his mother's health condition is getting worse day by day. He needs money to get her mother proper medical treatment. Living in such situation must be very tough. Therefore, I advised him to get any job without being too picky about the jobs and the positions offered.
