Spy Gorilla Comes Face To Face With Alpha Silverback BBC Earth

A robotic baby gorilla tries to become part of the family, but will he be accepted by the alpha silverback? Jayne: I think it's insulting to these gorillas' intelligence, to imagine they believe for a moment this robot is one of them. For one thing, it doesn't smell like a gorilla should. They might possibly think it's alive, just a creature of another species. The reason the silverback doesn't pulverize it is probably because it's too small to represent any real threat, like some of the monkey species that co-exist with wild gorillas.

What a cool robot! Someone did a really good job there. Is it programmed to respond or is there a sweaty puppeteer in some tent somewhere nearby pulling the strings? Next generation AI will be simian, planet of the ape-robots, Ha. Adorable and fascinating.
The baby gorilla is like: You're tired already? That was no fun. Muuuuuum. my new friend doesn't want to play with me

It's strange that their senses do not detect the inorganic nature of why I take to be synthetic materials comprising the spy's body. One just assumes that animals would be more attuned to such things as the absence of a heartbeat, or breathing, odd-feeling skin, etc. Shows how much I know, I guess.

Somebody's having a bad hair day. Must be the same humidity that's drawing all those gnats. The real gorillas don't seem to have the same problem. Either they use better product, or the guy who built the robot needs to go back the drawing board on the fake fur.

Every one should drive an electric car, solar panels should be in ever building and ever state and country should own a dam and windmills.

Seems like a small Silverback. arms are not that big and his Silver hasn't expanded much yet. maybe it's a new leader but a young one.

The little gorilla immediately thought about getting an illegal passport on the same day and fly to Honk Kong to avoid charges.
