I met Jim thru a friend in 1987 at the Comedy store and he had the twinkle you knew he would be of note. Nothing astounding there was alot of pretty talented comics there in the 80's. Saw him again about ten years at a restaurant with Lauren. He did that chug the bottle thing when the waiter poured a taste. I said hi and he pretended to recognize me but hes just a nice guy.
Just saw him at Whole Foods in west Hollywood and he looked like a lost old man, kinda glazed over and stooped for as tall as he is. I said hi and he just kind of smiled and said thanks. What price fame has.

This is not the real life full of strife pain and suffering, not matter how famous and rich one becomes; what God has in mind for those who love him ad do his will 1 Corinthians 2: 9; it's gonna be The happy real life full of joy, with the. hope of the resurrection for our dead loved ones, back on the earth! Jeremiah 29: 11 ) Psalms 37, 10, 11, 29 says that the righteous will possess the earth! In good conditions with no more sickness or death, no more old age either no More wars only peaceful conditions it will be awesome for those that do God's will!

I always told myself if i ever met a celebrity i wouldn't be starstruck, i would treat them like a human instead of putting them on a pedestal. Jim Carrey however if i ever meet him i would just want to hug him and get his autograph, then leave him alone.
His humor and mine are alot alike and even better i understand him and i think that has something to do with us being Capricorns. (We share the exact same birthday jan 17, though o was born 2002 him in 1962)
He has every right to enjoy retirement and i hope its great -

Just wanting to get this out my chest, Jim first wife is a ugly women and instead of appreciate, she create problems for Jim carrey who was paying the bills. When divorced, she split the money which she has nearly no business in and try to gain more, and by that age, calling 10k a month child support insefficient for the girl to live a decent life. SHe probably didn't spend a third of that money on the child each month lol

I first saw him on HBO Laugh-Off, just like Jerry Seinfeld. And like Seinfeld, he won the laugh-off, hands down. His eyebrow trick - something he almost never did after that laugh-off - is unique to Jim Carey.
I feel like he kind of went off the deep end in recent years. I think he spent too much time around Hollywood types.

He has more tallent than the masses will even know. I can honestly say he is verry tallented and i know cause i am fortunate enough to have eyes to see and ears to hear. All i am able to say without my comment disappearing or mys4lf lol is i respect the hard work and committed life the craft takes from a person. I applaud him.

As for anyone with depression the mask you put on to get through everyday life takes its toll on your energy. One gets to a certain age where the pretence has to stop, take off the mask and just be yourself.
The change everyone else notices will be dramatic but the relief you feel is real- good luck out there 3: 44

Very interesting deep thinking person. Jim Carey. I think he will come to know the Lord. believe it or not I sometimes pray for him and I never pray for or think about -PUBLIC- actors or comedian personally. To me he appears very smart and vulnerable as a human being.

I find him a Good Actor but, I never thought of him being funny at all. His parts are appropriate to him but not funny at all feels forced not who he really is but, worked for him and to too many other people so, he should be super Grateful.

Sir Jim Carrey got just a little luckier than the rest of us. He became a Hollywood A-lister. He got his dream come true for him. The rest of us don't and will never have that. Yeah, at least he got his dream come true. And I am happy for him.

I think that after you are a good stand up comedian the acting would be a peice of cake and Jim Carrey is above the rest in both and I saw some of his paintings and imo they put Picasso to shame they are beautiful paintings.
