-Adults spend about 10 hours a day on media every day. -
So. most adults are only awake about 10 hours a day? Because, with my work and projects and daily life, I'm constantly surrounded by media ALL the time. I'm awake 16 hours? 16 hours of media. Guaranteed. I'm awake 5 hours? 5 hours of media. I've pulled an all-nighter and have been up for over 36 hours? You guessed it. Over 36 hours of media. Music and podcasts are ALWAYS ALWAYS going on in my house. I can't handle a second of silence; I go mad without some sort of something going into my brain.

Soo annoying how these crash course videos talk so fast and make no effort to actually communicate effectively. Who actually things talking fast and overloading the listener with information is an effective means of teaching? This is a video medium - it would be advantageous to take advantage of that medium and use visual aspect to teach the subject. If it is just going to be a guy staring into camera and talking, it might as well be a podcast. Or better yet: A text book that I can read.

Anyone got a recommendation for a game I can play while listening to these sorts of series? I play on a PC. I'm trash at multitasking, so it's gotta be pretty mindless so I can focus on the series - but doing something with my hands & eyes on the side helps kill a lotta nervous energy so I can chill out & focus.

The main problem is that most of the people who spread fake ideas don-t even know how to read and surf the web properly.
They just forward the fake videos, thereby making bad use of their INVISIBLE HAND.

This is something I've been thinking a lot about recently so I decided I would just type -what is media? - In the search bar and this came out. I don't know why I'm so surprised but I am lol
