8: 35 my inderstanding is that PWM SHOULD NOT change the instantaneous current. That is V/R, regardless of the duration. What DOES change, is the amount of charge. the longer the switch is closed, the higher the charge that passess. But the instantaneous current stays the same. in the left corner diagram, that is the height times the base. The base, aka time, changes, the current is the same. The area is the amount of charge. So, at least to me, it is not clear how you mimic a current sine wave. There should be a way to accumulate the charge and release it smoothly. I assume a capacitor would be used, since it accumulates the charge and when it is not charged it releases the current.

This is one of the best videos on the subject! Only, at 4: 33 I think we are giving the wrong impression with the magnets and electron relationship. I believe it is the moving magnetic field that causes electrons to flow and not the 'attraction' of the magnets 'pulling' and 'pushing' the electrons. Perhaps you felt that by saying 'pushing' and 'pulling' it would adequately cover the point allowing you to move forward to the other, more important and relevant-to-the-video ones. All-in-all, I found this very helpful. Thanks.

in order to camp with my cpap machine, I use an EASYLONGER battery (12 v DC) to an inverter (+-110v AC) to my cpap. then, to charge the battery, the AC inverter plugs into my cigarette lighter in my car. So then I have car (DC) to inverter (AC) to battery. the guides online suggested i buy an additional adapter to run the cpap straight off the battery with a DC cord (no inverter. I have found that my battery-to-inverter-to-cpap method works and also uses the original cpap power cord. am i wrong though somewhere?

He lost me on this one who ever figured this out in the beginning was super smart off the scale in my grasp I can listen and understand only to a limit then its just double dutch, I believe its just memory loss or incapable of storing things that arent written down, also if converters are so special how come you cant run your home with a 12 volt battery of a converter and somehow have 240AC to power everything he hasnt explained that has he.

actually most applances wth out a motor uses d c because they have a step down xformer & diodes in them. I use to use home amplifiiers in my car when i was young & a car stereo enthusiast. actually my 1st car stereo was a home component set with the xformer section bypassed & running off str8 dc with a cap installed to flter out the a c ripples from the battery BUT THANKS FOR THE LECTURE. REALLY APPRECI8 IT

What I love about electronics and power back up systems is that they actually need low voltage DC, so they all have internal power supplies that turn the incoming AC into the necessary DC. So these in effect turn DC into AC which then gets turned back into AC. It does make sense though because something like a solar panel will generate inconsistent voltage so an inverter will smooth it out

Hello dear, your videos are very interesting. I love your videos.
I have some questions about my solar project.
1. Can i use a 12 volt single battery for a 24 volt solar panel with 24v solar controller.
2. I have 224v310w solar panel. I will use AC devices. What will be the best system for me?
Please suggest if possible.

Ok got it sir.
But I have a few questions. How the controller do on/off the pair switches? ' I mean what physics law/principles for a controller to do its job? The switches looks like a transistor so to open them, BE and CB potential barrier should be reversed biased? So if this is the case, how the controller do this?

Conventional current may be viewed as electron hole flow. It's rather useful in semiconductors but in conductors with electrons bouncing around everywhere, electron holes are really regions that have a lower electron density than the average, and they tend to flow in the direction of traditional current flow.

My Camo pro pack is called portable power generator, it has a 12 volt battery inside the pack and it also has 300 watt inverter attached to power pack. It has jumper cables to jump start a car battery, can I connect my jumper cables to a 100 watt solar panel ( Make electricity?

8: 48 Your description indicates that the 240V and the 120V versions have the SAME NUMBER of pulses, their just longer in the 240V version. But your 240V image appears to show a SINGLE long pulse, rather than several long pulses at each peak. That's confusing.

Well see l got this issue l would like to weld l would havet to make two 110 plugs then wire it to the 210. Is this hard to do. but l just want to also git past the hall sencers an just hook up the three wires any short cut to rt to power on the hub

at 7: 23 that wouldn't produce AC, as current will still be flow the same way in the circuit Reguardless of how switches are be used. Notice how she has conveniently omitted the battery polarity so she doesn't have to be explain this error

You can set the frequency to higher rate, and the 220 v to 257 v on some supplies such as Apc. When you do this, the grinder can reach a higher rpm for cutting or sharpening harder metals, that cant be done at 220 or 230 v.

But wait, if you use this pulse width modulation on a solar PV system, won't you lose a big chunk of the solar energy? The explanation given here begs the question why inverters can be so efficient on solar PV farms.

I'm a trucker trying to play my laptop and other game consoles with an inverter through my cigarette port would a 400 watt inverter be ok for long use or will i need to shorten my use before the battery runs weak?

I had problems with my Induction cooking.
First it worked perfect, now no full power for a year.
Seeing this: maybe the phase is set wrong some how.
Now we can cook full power again
Thanks

Why do you need to use the inverter in the compressor example? Couldnt you just run the three phase supply directly to the compressor, instead of converting to DC, then back to AC?

Sorry, I know little about all that, but maybe you should have mentioned, why the fuzz, just to get 3-phase-AC out of 3-phase-AC at the videos end.

The electrons doesn't flow anywhere. It's the charge moving at the speed of light that is flowing from negative to positive.
