One time a monkey attempt to do a barter with me. I was a young boy at the zoo, and I had a bag of gummyworms. I was looking at the monkey exhibit, and one monkey was watching me very intently. After a while the monkey picked up a handful of lettuce/cabbage or whatever it was, and threw it over the glass wall. The zoo keeper came over and told me that they monkey was attempting to trade with me, the cabbage for the gummyworms. They suggested that I keep the gummyworms out of sight from the monkeys. Even to this day I think back on that moment, wondering if I should have accepted the trade. I at least should have awarded the monkey for their impressive throw, since the glass wall was quite high, maybe 2-3 stories tall.
