I think you overestimated the size of the colossal squid quite a bit, the mantle (main body) part is only 2. 5m, maximum size estimations are only a little bit longer, around 3m-3. 5m, most of their 13m length is just how long their two tentacles can extend

Fun fact: It's very likely that modern baleen whales are able to get that large because C. megalodon and Livyathan went extinct so they didn't really have predators until humans started hunting them en masse
