Tyrannosauroidea is a large group of theropods more closely related to birds than to Allosauroids. It's believed that they originated in asia, although many primitive tyrannosauroids have been found in other parts of the world. The mostlt thrived in North America and Asia. It's the family of the famous Tyrannosaurus rex. You can get my paleoart as Prints and more merch here: my

0: 00 - 0: 25 we could fend off with our hands.
0: 28 - 0: 49 may try to hunt us and can kill us, but if we're not ambushed we can defend ourselves and possibly kill.
0: 53 - 1: 25 could definitely kill us unless we had mace or a man made weapon, would easily be apex predators in most habitats today.
1: 26 - 1: 49 would likely be apex predators and kleptoparasitic in any terrestrial habitat that's ever been dominated by mammals.
1: 50 - forward would likely be apex predators and kleptoparasitic in any terrestrial habitat that's ever been dominated by any crocodilomorph

The video was awesome, but I'm thinking -Where is Nanuqsaurus? - Now we know that Nanuqsaurus was bigger than we thought, about the size of Gorgosaurus (which I think also wasn't in this video, but I don't know how it was when you were making this video
reply

Missed Dilong, Gorgosaurus, Nanuqsaurus and Reaper of death Tyrannosaurus in this list(I am not sure whether it was discovered by the time of this video's release.
But this video gave a good view of evolution of TREXes. -

prob my favorite group of theropods as a whole, how did they remain some of the most basal looking yet get to the point of extremely derived all at once. Diverse and successful little bastards to, love tyrannosauroids.
reply

Your Lythronax painting is special. Absolutely unique and wonderful. I just one to point out to anyone who cares that all currently described Teratophoneus specimens are sub-adult.
reply

freakin love this man
Having Daspletosaurus, Tarbosaurus, Albertosaurus, and. Gorgosaurus?
Come to mention it, I didn't see the fourth member of the Four Horse-saurs

reply

The art is amazing! O' man do I wish I could have these as figures with these reconstctions! Especially that Teratophoneus! Realistic yet intimidating with the music lol
reply

Man I-m looking for -Tyrannosaurus Rex evolution- to find out how the first ever looked like until the last. But all I can find are how it evolved through movies-. Dumb
reply

So,
Tyrannosaurus Rex is 13 meters.
Zhuchengtyrannus is 11. 5 meters
Tarbosaurus is 11 meters
Albertosaurus is 10 meters
Daspletosaurus is 9. 5

reply

I like the fact that the T-Rex was feathered like a chicken at birth only to turn into a creature with skin like a crocodile and alligator as an adult.
reply

Imagine what other Tyrannosaurs could have appeared if the fateful KPG event never happened, or at least was delayed by a couple more 100 million years.
reply

It's just nice seeing amazing animals from the past being reconstructed by a genius like Mario Lanzas. Los Tyrannosaurios son mas que pensamos.

Daisy the Daspletosaurus was female dinosaur amazing!

reply

What a spawn from hell. If we could actually bring them back to life, we would immediately go about exterminating them again.
reply

As far as i know there is an even smaller Tyrannosaur the Timurlengia. Its like 3-4 meters long and weights approx 400 - 600 kg
reply

You should have included Stokesosaurus, Timimus (probably, Xiongguanlong, Alectrosaurus, Dilong, Kileskus and Sinotyrannus
reply

I knew it people though guanlong was a diliphosaurid but its a tyrannosaurid like in my dino game tyrannosaurus familly
reply

I've always thought Yutyrannus was a Tyrannosauridae until i saw the crest and found out it was a Proceratosauridae.
reply
